Well, I might give it another go, but everything was just fairly average. Not bad, nor fantastic either. I had grilled cheese and chili. I waited 25 minutes for my order. They were so slow there when I went in- almost no one in the dining room at all. I think they just weren't paying attention to the to-go orders coming through. Someone did come out and apologize for the wait, so I did appreciate that. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing or maybe it's better for breakfast. Or maybe I should get one of their burgers. The prices seemed very reasonable. I'd like to give them another chance.

So we got wind of this place that they were the original makers of the hamburger. So being on a family trip I felt this was a fitting place to try. We stopped by there and I kid you not they have 50 different hamburger options so brace yourself! On top of all that they have a menu that is about four other pages, long with all kinds of other food, which we obviously didn't get the sample we just came specifically for the hamburgers and milkshake. The service was excellent. The lady waiting on us just started and she was super super sweet and attentive. Extra star for service and hospitality.

We made a quick change in eating arrangements since a couple did not care for the one we had all had agreed to for eating. Well, things happened. We were not hurt time wise as we did not have a cast in stone of each stop point of the three stop day!The restaurant was moderately busy. We have eaten here before so I preferred the original restaurant we had never tried. Best laid plans can change! We we given a table for seven which is what we needed. When the waitress starting taking our drink orders, I noted she was a bit nervous. A more experience waitress was backing her up. When she took our food orders she kept checking on her backup! Well and good! The meal was delicious, I comment we had to wait an usually long time causing all of us to be even hungrier. Because everyone was remarking how good the food. We just walked on a hot floor for over two hours we had worked up an appetite! Some had plate meals and some sandwiches and sides. I had a burger with jalapeno peppers and it was great. Remember we were all hungry and bellies singing by the time the food came! Busy cook likely.Well, the problem of new waitress finally showed up when the bills came. First, she likely, had made the assumption that each person was paying for themselves. We had two couples and each did not want two bill only one. That poor gal, I was amazed she held her cool and took a few at a time and finally got done with the cash and charge and the right number of bills! Her back-up may have missed a confusing situation that might have been provided. I tipped better just because I knew she was trying very hard, On the job training can be a bear sometimes! All in all a better time that when my wife and I had on a prior visit. One problem they still have is the confusion of people trying to find the restroom. You have to go out the back door into the hallway between the different business and follow the hall to the strip mall. A one-restroom for all the businesses in that joined strip mall! I know I was confused on the first visit too. . Personally with at least two restaurant and several business the building designer should have given each restaurant their own restrooms. At least had better signs and perhaps a map on the door! Enough said!

Menches Bros of Perry Don't know what to say. Came in for breakfast today. Sat at the booth for 5 minutes no coffee; 10 no coffee; 15 no coffee, 2 servers walked by apparently not their station. Saw 2 couples walk in after us...get beverages. STILL nothing..tick tock...3rd couple walks in after the waitress in that area looks at us & takes their beverage order...OUT WE GO. Doesn't the waitress they hired not know her station? Either way I will never go back again & I will DEFINITELY never recommend this trash "restaurant" to anyone. Back story..went down the road to @VarsityRestaurant...in 1 minute...had coffee & our breakfast served within 15 minutes with twice the customers.

Well......here we go again!!!! As stated in other reviews,we give a business 3 or 4 chances to keep us interested or to prove us wrong.The servers are fast,intuitive,attentive The food can be iffy . The roast and mashed is always great.The salad bar is minimal but fresh.Every time we ordered a burger it was overcooked and dry. Each and every time. My advice is this,try it out. They have some terrific specials. The prices are good for the specials that are offered. The menu is large with variety.

Went to this restaurant today, and the service was the worst ever. The food was sub-par. We have been going there for many years, and it continues to get worse. There is side salad consisted of a pile of lettuce and one cherry tomato . Never once were we offered a refill on the coffee or iced tea. At the prices being charged today, more attention should be given to the customers' needs.

No one in restaurant, took over an hour to get food that was substandard. Didn't taste good, I sent it back. Manager, Bill Mellet made it a point to argue with me in front of customers that "he tasted it, it was good to him" I said good, then you eat it . I didn't want another. He then proceeded to tell us not to come back! This store has gone down hill. We've been here many times, but no more. Service is slow, to non existent. Manager told us he'd comp the bill, so we waited, no one came to the table. We left, server come running out the door to chase us like common criminals! DONT WORRY,WE WILL NEVER BE BACK!!

I went to Menches on Sunday morning, had an average breakfast and was relaxing with my coffee waiting on my change when the owner came up to me and tersely said "are you alright sir why are you just sitting here are you waiting for someone?"
