Place has gone downhill since the change in management. It used to be a family bakery where at lunch, since they had a deli and bread, they would make sandwiches for you if requested. I asked the new owner and she wasn't having any of that. I'm sure the bread and pastries are still good but the previous owner would go the extra yard for the customer in numerous ways. Also, it used to be open Sunday mornings and seemed like they were open later during the week. Now they are closed all Sunday and Monday. I guess in this day and age it's my fault for wanting more customer friendly hours and service.

I visited twice your bakery. First time, I bought stromboli and cookies. The stromboli was not good...it was kind of old...maybe because it was inside a plastic bag..I do not know really, but the taste wasn´t good. The cookies were excellent. The second time I bought croissant and a danish cheese bread. Both were good. I would like to give my opinion about the food presentation...it is good to know the expiration date and when the food was maid. There is no tag, at least in the danish was not this information. Another point is the prices in general...there is no price tag...it would be nice to know all the prices before buying it. I know that you should have reasons why your bakery closes early, but I think that is not enough time for people to buy...specially people who works from 8 to 5 for example..and should be a lot of them...but it is just my opinion,

My only experience with this bakery is a "scone" I bought that turned out to be inedible. It happened also to be too small for the $2 price (about 1/2 the size of scones @ Cleveland coffee shops). But I bought it anyway to "shop local." Scones should be biscuity, though denser than a biscuit, very crumbly and on the dry side. Bend a scone and it breaks and crumbles immediately. Not true for this bakery's version, which was tough and rubbery. You have to pry it a part to break off a piece. Like condensed pie dough. And it tasted just like under-cooked pie dough. I returned the item to the bakery and got my $2 back. I explained that scones should be biscuity, not oily like these. Like scones that I've had in Britain. The employee said "We're American, not British." Caveat emptor.

Very good Nut Roll and Poppyseed Roll. Not fancy, but clean and they are there every morning at 3:30 or 4 am baking.
