They participate in the Too Good to Go program. Generations of my family have been coming to the Westside Market. The free samples are a nice touch. Fresh bread had to be eaten right away or it gets hard.

This artisan style bakery is the best bakery in cleveland hands down. It's one of our must stops when we go to the west side market. Can't wait to go back. They're always so nice too.

It's Medi-terra up my heart when I'm with youBut when we are apart I feel it tooAnd no matter what I do I get whole grainWith or without youReally cool european-style Bakery inside the West Side Market. You can't get much better than this. The prices are okay and some of the products are delicious. They have amazing rolls and donuts and gluten-free options but their rustic old European style bread is definitely what keeps me coming back. And the wonderful Homestyle Old World Service as well. While you're in the WSM, get a Lemon Sugar crepe from Crepes Du Luxe, a Brat from Frank's, and some spicy jerky from J & J Czuchraj. Just make sure the mean employees at CDL don't Terra you a new one.

Overpriced, stale bread. Many other much better options in West Side Market. Possibly the worst store in the whole market. I hope they close soon and make room for a better store.

I'm not really eating bread much these (I know, it's sad...) But you can't *always* say no, especially to a man holding a glorious, rustic, crusty loaf of perfection right in front of your chin at the West Side Market. So, I gave in. And what a way to give in, people. I didn't waste my bread cheat day on some whack rolls or flatbread pizza that I'd regret later, oh no. I went all out. To start from the beginning, we went to the WSM. On a Saturday. After 3PM. (We've lived in Ohio City for *years* and you still can't avoid this all the time.) Anyways, not only was it a madhouse, but most all the typical bakery stands we go to were sold out. That is, until we saw Mediterra. And honestly, I'm not really sure what took us so long to notice this place. I mean, it's near a bunch of the stands we frequent on a regular basis... Anyways, we turned to see this glowing case full of crusty loafs looking rather delicious. The gentleman came right up to us to see what we were looking for. My beau replied that we were making a roast (meat from Vince's, of course) and he was looking for a nice loaf of crusty bread to serve it with. The gentleman knew right away, picked it up and showed us. Then, here's the best part, he squeezed it a little to show us its perfect crust. All you heard was this glorious "crunch," and we were sold. He wrapped it up WITH instructions hand-written on the package of the proper temperature/time to reheat it. Mind you, we didn't ask for this info, it was just given. He also threw in a free package of buns (the most delicious-looking ones I've seen-almost too perfect) since it was towards the end of the day and we were new customers. So, we took it home, warmed it up in the oven at 325 degrees for 20 minutes and it was utter perfection. Perfectly toasty, crunchy on the outside, chewy, giving way to soft in the middle. And don't tell anyone, but it's perfect for French toast making in the AM...Four stars for now, until I come back to try more varieties.

I stumbled upon Mediterra Bake House using the Too Good To Go app. If you are looking for bread that can go with your meal or something for a quick snack (think grilled cheese sandwiches or PB&J) this is the place to go. Friendly staff. Quick service. I went there on a Friday around 4:30 pm. The bonus is they are located inside the Westside Market. A City of Cleveland gem.

Consistently great bread. Baker is friendly as well. Once a month my partner and I visit the West Side Market; this is one of our regular stops. The Mr Atos is a favorite, as well as the sourdough rolls.

My bread was stale. When I went back to return it the next day, they wouldn't accept it, despite the fact that I had only eaten 2 slices (for the sandwich I made). Complete waste of money.
