Mayberry Diner

Oh wow!This diner had a very fair priced menu, refilled coffee in seconds and great cooks!I popped in here for a quick breakfast and was really happy I stopped in here. The staff was so accommodating for my little one and the food was amazing. The BEAT hash browns I've had in Ohio yet! It will be really hard to beat this place. They had picture up of what I would assume to be locals or family of the owner(a) and made you feel right at home. The staff was so friendly and always running around with a coffee pot! They were ON IT!Such a great spot for breakfast!

Food was good I had chipped beef on toast. The serving was huge. Service was great. Food was served quickly. I highly recommend this lace.

One of my favorite spots. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Your food is served properly while hot with a fair portion. As busy as they are they keep the facility very clean. One of my favorites are their variety of daily specials.

Waitress started us out by throwing straws on the table as she passed by then cam back took our drink order swept the floor didn't wash her hands then got our drinks. Waitress had a cold constantly rubbing up her nose with her hand and no hand washing we decided to keep watching She picked up the ice bucket to fill the ice machine handled the bottom of the bucket and didn't wash her hands once again then delivered our food. Food was terrible from the bacon to the coffee to the raw buckwheat pancake and frozen hash browns and cook came out to see what the problem was The whole experience couldn't believe it. Never going back Worst business ever! Oh coffee was ver clear and cringy

Excellent food, excellent prices, excellent service.We wanted a light lunch. When I saw egg salad on the menu, I was intrigued. I hadn't had an egg salad sandwich in years. As the waitress told me it was quite popular and a fresh batch had just been made, I was in.It was quite good. It could use use some onion and celery, but nevertheless good. I also ordered mushroom bisque which was simply fantastic. Hubby had a grilled cheese sandwich with ham and fries. The ham was generous and there was a slice of cheese on each side of the ham in the middle. If you stop by, don't skip the lemon cream pie. It was clearly homemade, very light, and deliciously lemony. The service was fast and friendly. She even cut our piece of pie in half so we each had a plate - nice touch.

First time trying this diner. Delicious! I had the Mayberry Mega Omelet (pick any six items), I picked bacon, ham, mushrooms, spinach, cheese & fresh tomatoes on top. I asked for mine scrambled instead of a traditional omelete. My husband had the Veggie Omelet with fresh tomatoes on top. We both had hashbrowns & wheat toast. To end the meal, we got a Lemon Bundt Cake - oh my soooo good & only $0.99!

This is my favorite diner in Sylvania!! My husband and I love going here for a weekend brunch. I'm always excited to go. Awesome food and friendly staff.

My favorite diner in Toledo! Just the best. The servers are all so welcoming and friendly, and it is truly a small town diner type feel. I love sitting up at the bar. The food is always great!

We went in for a pre-departure breakfast . The greeting and service were excellent; over easy eggs and sausage very good. However...the hash browns were terrible. A few crusty spots on the outside, but all else was raw! Inedible! If this is the standard serving, then Toledoans are too tolerant, the potatoes should have been unservable. Best start cooking them with butter and better.

Nothing to write home about. Burgers CANNOT be made to order therefor you know they are made with soy and not 100% beef....like a REAL diner serves.They ran out of straws. Too bad they didn't run out to Kroger or Walmart and buy some.They put 'pickles' on the burger. However they were cucumbers that seemed to be soaked in vinegar. Someone must have tried their hand as 'home pickling'...failed that. Overall unimpressed. Can get this basic food (and service) anywhere. Just won't be getting it there again.
