Maxim's Pizza

Nice place to grab a quick slice during lunch. Salads and subs also look great. Few tables but a good takeout spot. Pizza was very good. Friendly and quick service.

People- Extremely kind and personable. Great people, I can't express that enough.Service- Always gets the order right, fast and efficient. Meals are never cold.Environment- Clean and organized Food- Outstanding. By far the best in Mentor. Whenever I visit from CA, I have to get my fix with Maxims. It's like having Little Italy in Mentor. I love their sauce. My go to is there cavatelli and I get the eggplant roll ups . I just got their chicken wings for the first time and didn't expect too much but they were the best chicken wings I've literally ever had even beating out actual chicken wing restaurants. They were a dry rub so I was nervous about that too but they were super flavorful, moist and the skin was crispy without being over cooked... and they were HOT(temperature) .Italian wedding soup DELICIOUS!I don't want to take away from other Italian restaurants in the area but I don't know how anyone would pass up Maxims for anything else!!! This food does not taste generic or basic. 100% homemade Italian food. Coming from an Italian! MANGIA!

I've had takeout before- but I've never been in myself. It's really like walking into a little piece of history. Love the atmosphere- clean and neat and the smells! I picked up a selection of pizza slices (love that is available & ready!).. and an order of chicken Parmesan which was plenty for 3 meals. This girl at the front (she must be part of the family) - took great care of me - everything was AWESOME! Tip big people and EAT LOCAL!

Second time here. Second time perfect pizza. Second time awesome customer service. I totally recommend this place For a nice family owned good authentic Italian pizza

Tried for the first time yesterday. I can't believe I've driven by this pace so many times and never knew what I had been missing. I ordered a meatball sub and a salad. It was the best meatball sub I have ever eaten! Absolutely delicious. I ordered the 12" and it was enough for my son and I to split. We also split a medium salad , which is was actually enough for three people. The Italian salad dressing was out of this world!! Amazing! I will be going back to try more items on the menu.

I love getting their single slices to go. Been a customer since they were on 185th street. They are the friendliest family. Also their sausage sub is the absolute best. I love you guys!

One of the best Italian sausage subs I've ever eaten. Perfect balance of cheese, onions and peppers, and the sausage phenomenal.

AWFUL!!! TERRIBLE customer service and to boot, this is the absolute worst pizza I've ever had! And when I called the manager, she got on the phone with a snarky attitude and kept telling me she didn't have one... then I asked her why her pizzas didn't fit properly in the box, and that they STACKED the pizza slices on top of each other with plastic sheets. THEN she said didn't believe me and telling me that she puts high quality paper between the pizzas that she's stacked on top of of each other inside one box. It clearly was plastic wrap. besides that, the pizzas were black on the bottom to the point of inedible. so also told me there was "no way". All the pizza in the toppings were stuck to it and she told me that in order to get a refund I had to bring the pizzas back on Halloween, and I couldn't just sent her a picture instead of ruining my kids evening by stopping everything I was doing because I had already picked up food and it was an edible! I told her I would take it up with a better business bureau, and she told me go right ahead and hung up on me! I would never ever recommend this restaurant to anyone and I will definitely never be back and I'm gonna be sure to tell everyone I know what a terrible experience I had and it what a bitch the owner was! NEVER AGAIN! I would have been better off with frozen pizzas.
