Jamie is a fabulous waiting. She is funny and attentive and knows the menu so very well. For lunch we had the crab cakes and stuffed peppers. The new sauce is wonderfully robust. The restaurant is always clean and tidy. The food is delicious.

We came here as a large group on a Friday night and got amazing service and great food! The place is cozy, but has plenty of tables. The menu is loaded with all the typical Italian dishes, it was hard to choose! The food we tried was really good and clearly made with fresh ingredients and home made sauces.Their wine list is decent and affordable. They also have plenty of cocktails and save room for dessert, the dessert list was great. Definitely would return when in the area!

We enjoyed every minute of our dinner, from the food, (the butternut squash ravioli was to die for), to the generous pours of wine. Matteo's was very clean with a friendly atmosphere. The added touch was meeting the new owners, Jessica & Daniel who were a delight to hear their story. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We didn't have a good experience with the food months ago but now that it's under new management, we thought we would give it another go. This place did not disappoint. The bread, the pasta and the brussels sprout were very good! We couldn't forget about the tiramisu which was perfect. This place did a big step up.

The food is always great, the waitstaff is attentive, but the kitchen is SLOW. Really slow, every time we've been here.

4th time here, 1st To-Go order & we were fairly disappointed. The 8 cheese raviolis were dry inside and the sauce was not great & metallic tasting (from a can?). That came w/ a soup. We chose potato leek and it had good flavor but mega salty, like they accidentally doubled the portion. It came in a tiny container and the meal was $20. Yikes. The sauce on the appetizer meatballs was tasty though - more thick & chunky. The meatballs were not mushy at least, like we just had at a place in little Italy. Unfortunately there were only 3 included in the appetizer! That was hard to believe at $14.00! The cheese pizza was French bread style & sorta small at $14 but it was tasty & cheesy. So for $48 it was just enough to feed 3. Not a great value so we would likely not get a to go order again. The order came out 10 mins before quote so luckily we were early.

My husband and I came on a Saturday night which we had a reservation for. Very nice inside. Staff was very friendly. My husband and I got cocktails and they were good and definitely had a kick! The bread that was served was nice and warm and delicious. For my entree I got the manicotti and it hit the spot! Not till after we left did I see the short rib manicotti on the specials menu, I bet that was even better. Great date night spot.

It's hard to mess up Italian. So the meal was overall pretty good. I got the lasagna it was good. The tiny meatballs this was kinda weird. I'm thinking they came from a bag of frozen. It would take too long to make those. Crab cakes were great. The calamari was a bit over breaded and chewy. And does not come with any sauce. My wife ordered the tenderloin, they said they can only cook at medium or more. Red flag but she still got it. Wine selection was good. We got couple bottles. Our friend got the eggplant parm. She said it was really good. Service was good. Overall, I think it was a little overpriced. 4 meals, 2 appetizers, 2 bottles of wine ($11 bottles marked up to $40), $220 plus tip. My wife is still chewing her tenderloin.
