I love this hidden gem. The food never disappoints. The service is friendly and prompt. The overall feel of this takeout restaurant is great.

Great takeout place. Been looking for a good soul food spot and I've found it! The service was quick and friendly. Food was fresh and delicious. The only thing that was ok was the corn bread. You're not coming here for the ambiance but for the tasty food. Will be coming back for sure!

The food is great in my opinion the food is at the right price everything did go up a dollar or two but that's still good tell me one place that you can go get 20 whole wings for 20$ bucks that's amazing and the service is great and when it's not packed u get your food in a decent amount of time

Now listen... I've worked really hard on my photo game, but let me explain... I was hungry. I had to smell the ribs, the yams , greens and cornbread all the way to work. Then I had to carry it all the way in, basking in the glory that was a heaping mass of delicious. Now, I sat down hungry ready to devour, but there was a rubber band holding the top of my container down!! Meaning they stuffed this box so full of food the container needed help containing it! Ribs were tender and juicy and plentiful. The light spicy sauce they serve on the side was my favorite sauce. The cornbread was cakey and crumbly. The greens had a little bitterness paired with some spice just like they should be. My yams were taking a bath in butter in the corner of the box with just a hint of sweetness paired with a semi-soft texture. You have no pictures because what I did to these ribs cannot be shown to the public. I will be back. I will be trying this whole menu and I would recommend you give it a go.

This Black Owned Business is a hidden gem ! It has been servicing the Broadway/Fleet area for years and does not receive enough credit because the food here is absolutely amazing. And the prices that you pay for the food is unheard of. They offer what would be discounted prices on food, daily. $5 whole wing specials, where you will receive 5 whole wings and fries. Or $5 Cheeseburger specials, where you will receive 2 cheeseburgers and fries... all for $5 !! 2 for $5 polish boy specials ! This place has a cult following among those in the area but I believe more people should know about this place. The burgers are not processed, made from real ground beef and the fries seem to be cut directly from potatoes. They offer a variety of sauces but my favorite is their spicy special sauce. And they allow you to self serve yourself with sauce so you can pour however much you want (I really like the sauce so I pour a lot every time). The people inside are also very friendly and they do their best to get the food out ASAP.

So I ordered 10 wings and side of fries! Never again chicken tasted like it was fried in the fish oil, absolutely ZERO flavor. They use some type of batter mix which was flavorless. I will admit there burger & polish boy special are fantastic, but the wings horrible & as I was waiting for my order I could smell the lighter fluid from them firing up the grill assuming for the ribs they sell. That's just a No No in my book, never ever ever use lighter fluid on BBQ!

I've lived in the area over 15 yrs and I've passed this place many times and had no ideal of its goodness inside. Very urban and what my mom used to call a hole in the wall. But the food is good and served up fast. I've been twice, two days in a row! Both ladies on each day were very nice. The one lady even came out to my car as I waited for my order to let me know they were out of something. No problem I just ordered a different side. The greens could stand more flavor and my pork chops was just a little salty but good. Steak was great, good yams, Mac n cheese and macaroni salad also good. All good at a fair price. They seem like they are trying to give a low income community good food at a fair price. You even get a free 2 liter of pop for orders over $20. And lots of low price meal deals that everyone could chose something good to eat...Many $5 deals too. I plan on going back to try many more things. The nice lady let me try a few sauces on some very hot and tasty fries! Good sauce! Good n hot fries. They have been out of potato salad twice now. I'd like to give it a try.

Food was cooked just the way I liked service is always great and it was packed and ready in a very timely amount of time. 20 minutes from the walk in to leaving with everything I ordered
