Market Street Family Restaurant

Food is fair at best, booths are ripped and you sink into a hole. Salad bar is a sad excuse. Walked to the back close to the side exit looking for restroom and the smell of sewer was horrible. Needed the server but she was busy sitting at the large round table with other staff. ‍ Don't know what people see in this place.

Underwhelming at best. I took my senior Aunt and Uncle for lunch. They enjoy this place as the variety of food is good. The food is OKAY, nothing great, nothing terrible. Service was terrible. It seems they had enough staff, our server was just uninterested in serving our table and left before we were finished with our meal. If you are about to leave, why even take a table? The second server was just as uninterested and we didn't have refills of drinks and after our food arrived no one checked on us. Everything at this place is tired...the food, the salad bar, the staff and the restaurant itself.

This is one of the hidden gems in Lake County. We highly recommend the food and service. Staff is friendly, service is fast, coffee topped off continuously. Portions are generous and taste homemade with a variety that should satisfy anyone. Market Street is a place for family and friends to meet and dine comfortably as if at home with no dishes to wash and someone to serve so you get to enjoy your guests.

I actually really liked this place. Awesome service; very kind and helpful staff. Food was great too!! The taco salad was awesome. Needed another sauce on it but the flavors were all there. Pancakes and French toast were great. And the Diet Coke was perfection. Yes, businesses can mess up the way they make sodas. This place was a great stop in a tiny little town!!

Was a great breakfast a friend told me to try it and wow what a gem. Huge portions great staff and it was a busy morning. Plenty of parking staff was awesome all needs met. Definitely try it if you are in Mentor.

I have been coming here for years and just want to say how much we LOVE the lady who is in charge here. We see her every time we come here and she is just so nice to my husband and I. I think her name is Marguerite.

Last and final update.So you all know, prices on the menu are not accurate. You will be charged more.If you request coleslaw instead of a salad, you will be charged more.If you pay with a credit card, you will be charged 3% more.So all in all, the prices have gone up and the portion sizes ( fish dinner) have gone down .It just costs me $56 to find out.I can't recommend this restaurant any longer

Food is the lowest quality around. The soup and salad bar is a good deal. I've had poor service every time I've been there. Ambience is its strongest attraction.

The food is "hit and miss" prices fair, jumbo shrimp the best along with salad bar. There's a few good servers but Jen is Our favorite. We request her every time. She is very personable and attentive. Highly recommend her. Bathrooms need serious attention!

Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! Food is off. Everything is just edible. The inside is very nice with a nice atmosphere. I wish the food was as good as
