Market District Strongsville

Love the variety and unique options, can be on the pricer side. This store has a great layout with a lot of unique items not available at a normal giant eagle store. Lots of fresh vegetables and baked goods. They offer a Starbucks, bar, and cafe area. You can also walk around the store with your drinks. The carts have 2 cup holders to accommodate. The carts do seem smaller than other grocery stores. I easily filled it up for my family of 5. Check out went great with the full service option. They also use reusable bags.

You can get anything at the Market. Each booth has plenty of help to assist you and answer questions. Good food anywhere you look. Each booth has character according to the culture.

So a few pros and cons of this store and Giant Eagle in general.Pros :clean parking lotWell stockedModern and well organized Decent, not great, customer service in the separate departmentsCons :Quality of produce has been declining. BADLY.Quality of prepackaged meats has declined from previous years. Sticky packages covered in myoglobin.Not a big issue but that only happens when it's been sitting for more than a few hours. Size of the brown paper bags have decreased. Now they are a quarter of the size that they once were. Still charging the same amount for them though. How convenient.They will try to charge you for bags even if you bring your own. Clearly stated and shown that I brought my own bags. Still was charged.Some of the cashiers should really not be cashiers.

Bar review** (not grocery store) Amazing bartenders, very knowledgeable and have a great selection. Always a great atmosphere and service for a couple drinks before grocery shopping. This bar is better than most in the city, you can also grab a beer from the pick six liquor/beer area behind and enjoy it at the bar for only 3$.

There are grocery stores, and then there is Market District. More variety, more choices, and more fun. This place has a Starbucks inside as well as a bar with 18 taps of craft beer goodness. You can grab a drink literally go shopping with it, which can lead to some interesting purchases depending on how much you've had to drink. This place also has a restaurant and a place that has cooking classes. Head and shoulders above any other grocery store. Period.

As far as drinking and grocery shopping go, this place is top notch. The bartenders, Scott and Janet, are the best around and make you feel welcome. The bar is beer, wine, and pre-made cocktails and you are able to take the drinks throughout the store while you shop. They regularly host events with free samples of beverages and food as well. They have 18 unique beers on tap and most you cannot find in any other bar in northeast Ohio. The bar is situated in the side of the store and really makes you feel like you are in a bar rather than just grabbing a drink in a grocery store. The restaurant has re-opened and features sandwiches and salads.

Not all Market Districts are made equal as I've been to versions across three states. This one remains my favorite. Kudos to the operations time as the merchandising is always immaculate here and the store is always clean.Any time I am in town this is a must stop for me.

Had breakfast with the family here today. Food was good. The seasonal French Toast was yummy. They do have a kids menuCoffee was fair. There is a bar and a Starbucks in this store!Update:We really like it here. Lots of options and they have different specials each night. The pizza is good. I made salad from the salad bar today and hubby ordered a burger. The fries are delicious too!!

Curbside Review: ordered curbside pick up time of 7:30-8pm. Arrived at 7:50pm checked in with app. App still states "we are bringing your order to you." However, it is now 8:30pm (40min later), and no one has come out. I try to call the number on the pickup parking sign with no answer. I have tried the store main number with no answer as well. I cannot go into the store as I have daughter with me who has mobility issues_ - which is WHY I am using the curbside service to begin with. I have never had any issues with this store or curbside before. It would be great if someone would just answer the phone. ZERO stars!

Hours say open till 11:00 pm on Friday. It's 9:45pm and locked up. No hours posted by the door. Looks like Meijer, Beuhlers and Walmart will get my money now.
