Marcello's New York Pizza

We just tried the pizza tonight. Highly recommend. The lady working was absolutely amazing. We ordered the 18inch half cheese half pepperoni ny style pizza, a pepperoni Stromboli, and a salad. We will be ordering again. The Stromboli was our favorite, it's huge!

Visited Marcello's to pick up a couple pies to try. They currently don't offer delivery so it's take out only. I requested a 14" pepperoni and a 14" veggie pizza along with some BBQ chicken wings.I arrived 30 minutes later as instructed and they were boxing up my pizzas. The prices are slightly high compared to the pizza shop across the street. I drove home and we had dinner. The pizza was decent. I think the best part was the crust. The toppings were tasty also. Overall, I'd give the pizza three stars. The wings were breaded and deep dried. They had a nice crunch on them. The flavor was good. I'd give the wings four stars, taking into account they're not the traditional wings us Medina folk are accustomed to.I wasn't impressed with the meal. I'll try it again and see if anything changes.

The pizza looked interesting when I stopped in at 11:35am for lunch. I stood at the counter for 5 minutes. I saw two people in the back talking and 1 lady at the counter who was on the phone discussing DoorDash and how many people a pizza would feed. I was not even acknowledge as walking in even with a bell ringing when I opened the door. No nod, no I'll be right with you- no eye contact. After 5 minutes I decided that I'd eat somewhere else and I will never return to a place that doesn't care enough to see that I'm there. If counter person is tied up, perhaps kitchen people might come forward? Simple customer focused way to do business.

Great NY style pizza!! We happened to be near the plaza shopping and decided to try the new pizza place. Wow... really good pizza!! The NY pizza was flat with a delicious chewy crust, good sauce and perfect amount of cheese. There are a few small tables where you can sit for a slice, but it is more of a pick-up/ take-out place. We will definitely be back!

Being originally from NYC I just had to try them out. Let me say this is extremely close to NYC. They have NYC Sicilian pizza and it was fantastic. Many in the area should like it as pizza out here is very pan pizza oriented. As for the regular pizza it was nearly spit on. Hopefully they stay around for a long time. They are located in the old Pizza Hut take out location. I will be back to get more.

Avoid this place like the plague, the service is absolutely horrendous. The lady out front is clueless. Ordered a pizza waited an hour and half, 15 people just standing in the lobby, no customer service whatsoever. 2 people standing in the back not doing anything. This place will be closed in a month. Why open a restaurant if you have no clue what you are doing???
