Malley's Chocolates

I was visiting from out of town and my local friend wanted to stop here to grab Christmas presents for her family. It seems it's a staple for Ohio, and that was further evidenced by the sheer amount of people coming in and out of the store carrying large bags. I was skeptical I'd like it as someone who doesn't love sweets and chocolate much.The prices, especially for the nicely wrapped gift boxes are a bit steep. A box of chocolate covered potato chips was about $27, and I couldn't help but widen my eyes a little at the tags. My friend swore it was worth it, so I patiently waited until we got out of the store to try my piece of the prize. The customer service was decent and having tap to pay is a nice addition to a store you wouldn't expect to have it. I must say, the teal and pink bags also are a cute vibe when you bring home your spoils. They have a display case of everything they offer, in case you'd like to sample the wares that way instead. While in the store, my friend grabbed a bag of "Sweet Slips". For $15, you can take home about a pound of oopsies from the chocolate making line. The ones she got happened to have crisped rice in them, and once I tried them, I finally got it. Malley's is actually extremely good chocolate. There was no sugary burn down my throat after I ate it. No need for a glass of water, no film in my mouth. It tasted very 'clean' and smooth. I am actually quite shocked how much I liked it. We went back the very next day and I got two of the crisped rice santa bars. I left them in her car on the way to the airport and got extremely upset upon realizing halfway through the security line. Give Malley's a try, even if you're not so keen on chocolate. It may very well surprise you!

Chocolate lovers rejoice! Large selection of every chocolate combination you can think of. They had candy too! We ordered the Buckeyes however, the star of the chocolate show for us was the those darn Betty Lou's ...You can never go wrong with milk chocolate, caramel and pretzels. Delicious.

I visited this place because I love going to classic local places in cities I visit. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. They had a nice variety. I wish I could have bought more but I am not eating sugar right now. So I just got 4 Buckeye chocolates. They were creamy and rich. This place should be on every chocolate lover's list.

They sell buckeyes in multiple size packs!I didn't realize how challenging it would be to buy buckeyes in Ohio. Here you can get them from a 4 pack to a half box to a full box. They also have lots of other chocolates to choose from. You can get individual pieces to different mixtures in a box. When we arrived, the employee gave us a sample of a chocolate covered pretzel. It was a big pretzel, not the small bite sized ones. She was very friendly and helpful! We will be back again on our next visit out here.

My husband introduced me to Malley's years ago and now it's a standard stop when we are in town visiting family. It is a cornucopia of gustatory delights!! Yes, the prices are increasing...there and everywhere. Come November, vote to save your pocketbook!

I see people are mad at Malley's for the size and pricing of their products. Well I can only think the same people must like shopping for their needs every day. Since the price of everything has gone up the past couple years. Malley's Chocolates is a Cleveland staple. And has only provided the best chocolates. So, to the ones who want to complain, you should watch what you ask for. Our economy is more of a political mess and that's where we get these price increases.I would like to thank the Malley family for their years of service to our community

A family-owned business since 1935. It immediately attracted lots of different people from different generations for its high quality chocolate and wonderful ice cream. It's a great place for gifts a wonderful place for Christmas presents everybody has their different favorite of their classic chocolates. My Dad loved the toffee covered chocolate with almonds. I think one of the owners created it and it was his favorite. My grandfather love the chocolate covered cherries. My mom loved the nutmallow covered in milk chocolate. I enjoyed too covered in dark chocolate. it's walnuts. Chocolate and marshmallows. My friend Sheila's dad loves dark chocolate covered pretzels. I've gotten their fudge sauce and it's great over ice cream. In the warehouse on brookpark is a good place to go plenty of parking close to the airport easy in and out.

Recover Gold mix box from my work every year and this year it was terrible! We kept bitting into hard pieces of something that almost cracked are teeth! Emailed Malley's and no reply!Save your money! Over priced!

For many years we have bought hundreds of boxes of chocolate covered pretzels for gifts. We stopped this year because of the significant marked price increases. We were gifted a box this week. What happened to the thick chocolate pretzels?? Two used to be plenty!!! Now 4-5 might work. They look cheaper than the cheap. So disappointing!!!! Thanks Malleys..
