Main Moon Chinese Restaurant

I've had two different orders at this place and they don't care about serving you burnt the deep fryer food. These people can't cook. I give up and will order from the Austintown location

I will be honest, it fell short of my expectations. I have had real Chinese food but then I have to stop and realize where I am. I am not in Los Angeles. For here, it works. Perhaps I picked the wrong dishes. It seemed like a Chinese grandma and her daughter. With a lack of Asian ingredients in the area,they do a fine job. Take al that into account, it's a fine meal.

better then most. know what you want to eat though. if you order something and dont know what you order you wont like it. but thats oriental food in my experience.

fair but far from great, even for a hole in the wall. as it is the only option in Newton Falls i will go there, but have had a LOT better

Staff discriminate. They hang up on relay calls. Each time I have something of theirs, it's got an off-taste to it. I had their wonton soup once... The broth smelled really bad. My husband who can't smell well even said that it smells bad! We have informed them but they do nothing about it. Be very careful what you order if anything. Health department MUST regularly check this place for safety's sake.

The food is pretty good. It's not cheap but the prices aren't outrageous. I love the sesame chicken, fried rice, bourbon chicken, wanton soup, egg drop soup, crab rangoon etc. The only thing I've ever had there that was sub par was the happy family. Some of the staff is very friendly but there is one or two who are impressively rude both in person and on the phone. However the food is good enough that I'll continue to go back regardless. As an added bonus my order is almost always quickly prepared. A 15 minute wait at most.

New to area! first experience of any type of food out here!had a mukbang with my friends and forget the haters!! they were quick nice and friendly! the place smelled amazing i was in heaven just by walking in the door! large portions good price i got 3 apps and 3 entrees (all large with combos and extra rice) for 58$ shit was gas!

OH MY GOD ! I have ordered from Main Moon ror years . Tonight , after a bad damn day , i just wanted some comfort food . I called Main Moon and ordered shrimp with snow peas , a shrimp eggroll , and a pint of hot and sour soup .You know as well as i do that they arent cheap , but the food has always been good so i splurged .Now here comes the bad damn end to my bad damn day .The shrimp and snow peas ... I got a bix , PACKED with snow peas , and drizzled with some NASTY brown sauce , and , heres the best part , THREE 3 FREAKING SHRIMP . Are you fucking kidding me ???Now , the 'shrimp eggroll ' , I would almost laugh , if i hadnt have needed a decent meal tonight . When i picked the eggroll up , IT COLLAPSED ! It was half full , with one tiny , chewy shrimp in it .Now , i am not going to even OPEN the soup . II paid 18 bucks , for a handful of snow peas and a eggroll wrapper half full of crap .Never again . If you have memories of wonderful food from Main Moon , just please , order from somewhere else

Decided to give it another try after the new year and we were less then impressed. Pepper steak was so poorly prepared that the sauce had no flavor. Steak was slimy vegetables were still raw and the fried rice was not as advertised. We willmot be returning any time soon.

I ordered 2 General Tso platters by phone for a later pick up. I arrived a few minutes late. My order was ready and pack securely. I paid and went home. It has been several years since we have ordered from here. The food has alwats been great. Hot and hits the spot. Usually plenty left over. The place looks clean. All of the plastic covering everything is distracting. But it is post covid. The food. What this review is about 4 egg rolls, 2 general tso platters. We have ordered this in the past. Usually the chicken is swimming in sauce. Spicy, sweet sauce sitting on a bed of moist pork fried rice. Usually. The egg rolls were great. The price point was great. The service was great. The rice was dry. The chicken was modestly covered with some sort of bland sauce. I was so disappointed. I did not call to complain. I dont want a refund. I was hot, tired and hungry when I picked up the food. We ate the food after adding some water and popping in the microwave for a few minutes. This is a small place in a small town and we need eateries to stay. We need the original food and recipes back. Again, the price was great, the portion size was huge. The food was just lacking.
