Why a 5 star review when we have only tried a small portion of the items on the menu ? Because what we have tried has been excellent so far & plan to eventually try everything on the menu (that's why) ! Prices are quite good & affordable. The onion rings (Huge & solid, that bite cleanly instead of pulling out all at once. Leaving a handful of hollow batter) & fried mushrooms ( pretty killer too) are addictive. The burgers (I'd easily say that it is one of the 2 best burgers in Geauga County. The other being JC's up the road just before the square in Burton. Hah.....Take that Cleats ) & the giant chili dog are spot on (moist but not greasy). Speaking of the chili, we all enjoyed a bowl by itself & plan to order it again. Also look forward to trying the French Onion Soup. Really good potato skins that I could make a meal of on there own. The Buffalo hot wings aren't greasy & better than Cleats in Chardon as well (but not as good as the Pterodactyl Wings from the old Maxx Doogan's in Chardon that broke our hearts when it closed............SIGH ). Nice atmosphere & it is quite pretty inside as well. Folks were friendly, professional & helpful too. Based on what I have seen I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to take the children here for lunch or dinner.All in all very happy to have found them & hope it stays this way !

When I really want to know if a burger is good I don't get any toppings. As a plain burger this sits in your stomach like a clump of lead and the fries are rather soft & heavy as well

good food nice prices. casual environment with a small town vibe. Great service and very clean. good for groups even with kids. they are very accommodating.

What a cool spot! Definitely worth checking out. Hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had with Guinness Cheese. We loved sitting out on the patio

Been here multiple times but was extremely please when I decided to have a graduation party here. The staff was amazing prior to the party and overly helpful in making sure all details were taken care of! The food was amazing and the burgers were a HUGE hit!

The place was hoppin at 1pm on a Sunday. Apparently there was some sort of party going on. Staff was busy, but you could sense their desire to make the experience pleasant. I'm going to return soon.

Was here Saturday for apps and clambake. Was delicious. I cannot say enough about the quality of food and the service. You can tell EVERYTHING is made from scratch. You don't get that often. Take your time to visit. One thing that impressed me is how comfortable the bar is also. Beyond the food, this bar has a great atmosphere. Very homey. GET THE FRIED PICKLES! Clambake was awesome. Actually get anything from here!! FANTASTIC

We were just at this tavern for sweetest day and I had to write a review as soon as I came home. I only review places that are extremely exceptional or beyond bad and during COVID times I don't put bad reviews out there because people are doing the best they can. Ok, back to business. I went for the clam bake and didn't know what to expect but was blown away. My husband and I love to cook and the owner had the BEST clam bake I have ever had. - Including mine. Beyond exceptional is an understatement. The food coming out of the kitchen looked soooo good also. I cannot wait to come back and see what is on the menu. If you get a chance, stop here. Clambake is on Saturdays in October They have some AWESOME specials through the week

The food was amazing! Service was spot on and the vibe was exactly what we were seeking! Kudos to the owners for running such a great hometown tavern!!
