We went to The Haunted House Restaurant and found this place right around the corner. The bartender Melissa was amazing and super friendly. She made us feel welcome and was an absolute blast. Good place to stop in and have a drink at a local place.

Dive bar, friendly folks. Had a half hour to kill, so walked in and sat at the bar and were immediately greeted by the staff and other patrons. Ordered a couple honey Jack on the rocks. It was warm. They had the doors open at both ends of the building, but there was not any air movement goin on. It wasn't even that warm out. Not sure if there's air for warmer days or not. There were a couple of older TVs behind the bar where games are on. They did offer a discount for paying cash. We charged our tab and it came to $11. Would be a good place to hang if you're looking for a quick drink or some conversation as long as it's not too hot out, Ha!

This is a local gem! The bar is a very friendly place, and the food from R's Kitchen, the attached restaurant, is absolutely delicious! You can sit at the bar and eat, or sit in the restaurant side...your choice. And don't expect a menu solely comprised of traditional bar food. Sure, you can get burgers and wings, but you can also get entrees including Chicken Piccata, Braised Short Ribs, and some of the most delicious salmon I've eaten anywhere. As an added bonus, there is usually live music (Amanda & Rick - awesome) on Friday evenings.

I am of two minds. The food is really great and novel, but the service is excruciatingly slow. We waited 45 minutes for poppers and fish and chips. It appears to be a case of a restauranteur who knows how to cook but not how to run a restaurant. Disappointing

Really chill bar that's meant for a mature audience. Has a old school feel with the plus of a pool table. Highly recommended for cheap drinks and good conversations.

Very friendly place. The restaurant attached to the bar had an interesting menu. We were a party of 3 and each had a separate item we each loved our choices. Nice place to stop for dinner and a drink.

Visited a few times and most times it was full of grumpy old men. Fox news on the TVs, and sad songs on the jukebox. Female bartender was nice, but the older guy not so much. Prices are good, but the company is miserable. Attached restaurant isn't bad, but the general mood is unappetizing.

This place is definitely worth a curiosity stop. Melt has a long wait? Grab a drink here while you kill time! It's the perfect little hole in the wall with a very "old man bar" vibe. When we stopped in here (it was late and the place was pretty empty--I can't really speak for any earlier business or customers), the bartender was nice, but didn't smile. His demeanor was really a mirror of the environment, which was nice, but not flashy or overdone. Overall, it was just a really chilled out bar (my fiance and friends played pool while I unwound after a frazzling night at work); good for a couple of beers and the opposite of the bumping annoying club scene that so many people my age tend to flock to. It reminded me of an older relative's basement bar, complete with old booze signs and long forgotten decor that just seems to collect on the walls and in the corners. I also got a pretty welcoming vibe, as long as you don't stir up trouble or upset the zen of the place.
