Five stars pie...four star diner style food. Get the sweet potato fries with the maple/whipped cream dip. The waitstaff is old school diner style: they seem to really know what they're doing. Its ambiance is slightly more homey large diner.

Fantastic place for breakfast.Great service, it the kind of place where they get to know you, and you can order your "regular" and they know what it is down to the condiments on the side.No need to rush in and out have a seat in the family owed casual establishment have a conversation over a traditional mid western breakfast.

The restaurant was clean and inviting. It's a very down home. It's a great place for a home cooked meal. We used to come here when visiting my grandparents. It's like being home. Our server was friendly and attentive. Everyone is so nice.

Food was decent fairly priced. Swiss steak was pretty good for me and my wife got the walleye and a cold baked potato and they are so busy with minimal servers it took 18 min from time of order to time we received food. It took another 10 min to get a hot baked potato. Place is clean for a busy place so kudos for that. I think it would be better to shut down more tables if servers and cooks can't keep up with everything. All in all it's a good place to eat though.

Stopped in for a light dinner with my wife and mom last night. Seating at 1720 we were paying our bill 90 minutes later. Our order? A Chicken quesadilla for my wife and I adding a side salad for me. Mom ordered a side salad and soup of the day, potato soup. Also ordered drinks...soda, unsweetened iced tea, and water. We noticed our server had one half of the dining room, 14 tables. She seemed to be doing her best, but in that 90 minutes she only checked in on us once. The salads came out after ~30 minutes and the quesadilla and soup came out at the one hour mark. Noticed the soup was being heated in a microwave. It was still cold on arrival so Mom sent it back. Into the microwave it went and returned a few minutes later. We were done with that in ~15 minutes. We ordered 2 slices of pie to go and that took another 15 minutes to arrive with the bill. No apologies as to the time it took. Not impressed at all. I do not plan on coming back for a while.

Nice friendly place. Food was good, breakfast hash browns dry no flavor but egg yolks helped. Coffee was expensive but you do get a bottomless Cup. I would recommend this place

I don't get it. Stopped for dinner. 8 of us (2 little ones). Place was booming. Line out the door. Goods-fruit pies. Ask to reserve your slice when you arrive. It will be gone. Open roast beef sandwich...hot gravy.Oppty- entrees. Average to below. Fried fish...swear there was a fin in it. Stroganoff special...gravy good, pasta was like school cafeteria (cut up). Hamburger and mac-n-cheese...dry. Average-service. Nice people.

Entering the place was neatly decorated, high capacity and CLEAN. This was dinner time on 10-25-24, me, chicken fingers, a 3, wife walleye, a 3. We shared potato skins app- lots of bacon bits but only a half of potato's worth. Ho hum so far.The ads boast the pies to be award winning so we caved...a piece of sugar free coconut cream pie revealed a tasty filling but the crust was no different than dry, white chewy cardboard. With the tip it came to $50The staff was plentiful and efficient.Bob Evans will be our choice next time.

We love coming here when we're in town. The food is nothing to write home about but it is good and comforting. We usually get burgers and fries. The thing to write home about are the pies and the banana split. Some of the best around locally. We like ours cold and the waitresses each time have no problem putting it in the fridge for us til it's time to eat. Best part is, if you have young kids, there's a playground right next to it. The

It's a local institution but it really deserves no applause. Bad food, bad atmosphere. They hate America. At least they have decent pie
