This restaurant is a gem! Service, music, food,, beverages... everything was superb!!! Highly recommend, definitely plan to return. This place was beautiful and inviting. The beverages and food was not only delicious to taste it was also a feast for the eyes and a delight to my other senses! Chefs kiss and bravo!!!

Menu looked great...reservation made in advance, but upon arrival we were told they were still seating 8 groups in front of us, mind you those reservations were 30 minutes prior. After 1 hour, a failed trip to the bar, getting a table (only because they couldn't locate the couple they were looking for) and still no service we chose to leave. The lobby was full of people in the same predicament. We ended up at next door at the Map Room, great service and even better bar food for a fraction of the price.

Well, this is new for me because I don't post negative reviews. I'll keep it short. Had a reservation at 630. Got seated 20 minutes later. Server was MIA. And by 720 ended up leaving. Pretty bummed because of the hype around the food. But, it was obvious other patrons there before me still had yet to even get their food. Oh well. Maybe next time will try not on Valentine's Day.

I would tell you to run, not walk, to this spot! The food is pretty good--but this isn't the most special part about Lulo. I loved the maple salmon and my green juice (all juices are freshly squeezed). What makes this place truly special, though, is the service and atmosphere. The owner's passion for his business is clear; he visits tables to ensure every guest is happy. The ambiance is cozy and romantic. Whether you're sitting in their snug basement section or upstairs by the windows surrounded by greenery, there's a perfect spot for everyone. This is a small family business, and I am certain they appreciate the support!

Beautiful restaurant with a lot of photo worthy elements and I was very appreciative of the server accommodating our group of 11 with such a positive and pleasant attitude.The menu and food left a lot to be desired. I'm typically not bothered by a "no substitutions" rule but the menu was already kind of limited as it was. Some of the dishes were inconsistent when they came out. My cut of salmon was very slim, almost a sliver (especially for the price), but my friend's was a much bigger square cut. The salmon also wasn't very flavorful. We all needed to ask for a hot sauce and a ranch type of sauce to help doctor it up. The bar had a limited selection of tequila but the cocktails on the menu were good!

If missed potential could be summed up into a restaurant this would be it. We came here after seeing the incredible decor on social media, but really wish that they had put more effort into making the food taste better than the ambiance of the place. The drinks were probably the only good things we ordered. The empanadas were quite dry and i really struggled to taste much even with the pico. The salmon was similar where it tasted almost completely unseasoned. The shrimp on the other hand tasted like buffalo sauce. Service was alright although definitely nowhere near top points. There is SO much potential here but at least for now, will not be returning.

So we made a reservation via OpenTable for Valentine's Day. The experience was absolutely horrendous. The restaurant was overbooked and staff was running around. We never got our drinks or appetizers. We got our food very late and it was cold. I left a scathing review on OpenTable and the restaurant cancelled my already completed reservation a day after probably to get rid of the review attached to that particular reservation. Really unprofessional and sketchy behavior.

My husband and I decided to eat at Lulo Cleveland for Valentine's Day after seeing lots of social media videos and hearing great reviews. Our reservation was for 6:30 PM, and we arrived at 6:15 PM to find a room full of other guests with the same reservation time. Despite it being a holiday, the way things unfolded was disappointing. It took forever to get seated, and people with later reservations who arrived after us were seated before us. Once we were finally seated, it took a long time for them to bring us water and take our drink and appetizer orders. After finishing our appetizers and drinks, we ordered our main courses and another round of drinks. It took over an hour and a half for our food to arrive. We asked three separate times where our food was, and other tables that were seated after us were already checking out. We tried to be patient since it was Valentine's Day, but seeing others get their food and leave before us was frustrating. We also noticed other diners leaving due to similar issues, some without receiving their food or drinks.While the food was good, the service was terrible. We ended up leaving around 10 PM. When we went to pay the $186 bill with a $100 Visa gift card and intended to cover the rest with my card, we were rudely informed they weren't accepting gift cards. The waiter was extremely rude and dismissive. Even after we paid, we were still waiting for our desserts to be delivered to our table. This was the worst dining experience we've ever had, and we wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. We will not be returning. Update: They canceled my reservation even though I showed up, so now my card is going to be charged $25 per person, and my OpenTable account is going to get flagged. What a joke of a restaurant.

We arrived a half hour before our reservation, had drinks at the bar after checking in. After one drink, we asked to be seated and no one knew what was going on. There's no table available and it took 10 minutes to make it clear that we did in fact have a reservation. we were seated 20 minutes late and it took another 15 minutes for anybody to come to our table. Our waiter was fabulous but brand new, his third day, we ordered more drinks and food. Every order, apps and entrees, came out separately. One was forgotten. When we asked about it, it came out right away and was stone cold. We ordered a bottle of wine,one of them the five red wines on the menu,10 minutes later we were told they were out. We left as fast as we could!

Steak was overcooked and dry. Plantains were cold. Dessert was great. Miguel was very nice, but it took 15 minutes to get drinks. Never cleared our table until we asked. Very spotty service Great ambiance. I really wanted to like it, but will probably not go back.
