Los Venados - Andover

Brand new restaurant, we think. We are not from the area. Very good Mexican food, for basically the middle of nowhere. Not expensive and huge portions. Place looks nice on the inside, not sure what the previous place looked like. Some oddities: we were asked four times if we wanted a take out box.... By three different people?? As we are not from the area I was surprised by a service charged listed as "taxes" (even though taxes were already totaled.). This was due to using a credit card rather than cash. In my home area this has to be noted conspicuously. Please, work the charge into your overall prices. Again, good food, would definitely good back.

Brand New Mexican restaurant in Andover. Used to be Scooters, they remodeled it, it looks great! Between 5-630 is their busiest time, we came with a larger group around 630 on a holiday weekend and had no wait time although they were still pretty busy. Staff is very friendly and happy to help. Large menu with a variety of options- everyone can find something. Also the only Mexican restaurant I've seen serve coleslaw and salsa at the table- it was delicious! Great to have a local Mexican restaurant in town now, try it out!

Brand new to the area this place and they are the real deal, great food good portion size and the wait staff are very professional. The only bad thing I'd say is they should never run the sweeper while people are eating dinner.

Wednesday night spontaneous dinner. Wow did not disappoint. We got some kind of pineapple shrimp special and a giant mini burrito. Sorry but don't remember the exact names. Excellent food, atmosphere and service. Highly recommend this place. Lucky to have a restaurant like this in a small town. We'll be back.

Check your bill closely. We went twice and both times they tried to over-charge us. The first time they charged us for an extra round of drinks. The second time they gave us the wrong bill which was slightly higher. Also, on the second visit, our bill increased between when they brought us the check and what they actually charged to our card. Any one incident seems innocent by itself, but three times is a pattern.The food was good.

First time here since they opened. The food was awesome. The price matches the ample serving size. You can not leave here hungry!

They have the best margaritas, staff was nice, remodeled the interior ,food was good but wait was long

Great food served with chips and salsa plus a yummy coleslaw, reasonable prices, friendly service and a convenient location.

the food was great! prices were reasonabl. our server got an entree wrong and blamed us, not nice. he never came back to table except when we flagged him down. we would definitely go back but hopefully have better servic.
