Oh, Los Galos, where the food is as vibrant as the ambiance and the lamb lollipops are basically a rite of passage! Seriously, if you haven't tried these delicate morsels of joy, you need to reevaluate your life choices. They're like little pieces of heaven on a stick, and I'm not exaggerating! So, picture this: we stroll in on a Wednesday night, expecting an ordinary dinner, and BAM! There's a live band playing! Talk about a delightful surprise! It turned our casual dinner into a full-on fiesta. I mean, who doesn't want to enjoy their tacos to the sound of live music? It was an experience, to say the least!Now, let's talk about the food. They offer cabbage coleslaw as a side option--who knew that would be a thing at a Mexican restaurant? But lemme tell you, it adds a refreshing crunch alongside their regular salsa with the chips. I ordered a Tito's on the rocks and a Coors Light (because balance, right?), and for dinner, I went for the pick-three. It arrived on three humongous plates that could probably feed a small village! I ended up leaving with two to-go boxes, which is a win in my book.My husband went with one of their combos and proclaimed it some of the most incredible authentic Mexican cuisine he's ever had. Now, that's a statement coming from him! The decor has this charming rustic, California cowboy vibe--think big oversized wood booths and a warm wood bar. It all fits together so nicely, you'd think they planned it that way (which they probably did, because they're pros).The bartender? A total gem! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. Amazing service all around. Sure, the prices are a tad higher, but hey, you get what you pay for, and at Los Galos, you're paying for a fantastic experience.So, if you find yourself in Youngstown or Boardman, do yourself a favor and hit up Los Galos. Just remember to order the lamb lollipops--you won't regret it!

The Mexican is just okay--very bland and mediocre. I would recommend you stick with the more traditional bar food. Service was excellent. Ambiance casual. Nice bar for a Friday night.

I had Maria's Special; Chicken Enchiladas with Mole sauce. It was delicious. I had a special margarita which was also delicious. Food was served super quick. My 7 year old ordered the kids pizza and fries. The pizza was junk- as would be expected at a Mexican restaurant. However, the fries were fabulous. Took the leftovers home, threw them in the air fryer for dinner. Yum. I'm always intrigued by the cole slaw and chips. So good.

Been there 100 times and it's really taken a dive. Even the waitress told us to go to another Mexican restaurant in Canfield. My favorite appetizer was changed to a dinner & they wouldn't do the appetizer. The Flan is now a sheet cake, it was old are hard, my dinner was incorrect they blamed the waitress by the time I got it the rest of my family was done. Spoke to the manager he said that's the way it is. We are trying the resturant the waitress recommended.

Was I yesterday and I asked to sit at the bar. Walking in was very dark and people were struggling to read the menu. The bar was a lot brighter. I sat and waited 10 mins before I was seen. Bartender was very friendly. My beer was ice cold. I asked before ordering a taco if it's freshly fried or store bought. She said they're fried fresh but when my taco came it was NOT fresh fried. I asked her about it and she said they fry them up in the morning. NO. That was absolutely a mass made El Paso shell. I sent it back and asked for a soft shell, I got a flour tortilla. That's not authentic mexican!!Now, the grilled chicken quesadilla was very good. Black beans good, but rice was dry.

Exactly the cluster f*** I did not expect. Good food, but lousy crazy ass service. Lots of cooks, no managers. So, no one telling anyone what to do or where to go. I had three people tell me where to stand, "stand here, stand there". Frigging annoying. I'll give a four for the food, but a two overall because no one knew what they were doing no organization at all!!!Ok, after eating, made it a four star. They used soft flour instead of soft corn tortilla, their was no lime wedge with my street tacos, but they nailed the carne asada. And I drank the margarita. The food here is decent, and the atmosphere is so-so, with screaming kids at the next table, and a trio that seemed to be rehearsing more than performing. the quesidilla I ordered was delicious, but the taco was just barely OK. What I can't see is $10.75 for a single shot of Scotch and some soda water!! Ridiculous!! Our server said the Scotch (Johnny Walker Black; NOT top-shelf by any means!) was $10, and the $.75 was for the soda. Who charges for water, which is all soda is-water that is charged with some co2. I had a quesadilla, a taco, one tall beer and the Scotch and soda, and my tab was over $40!! I will never go to this price-gouging place again.

Place has really went down hill. Took 4 people out to eat, prices were outrageous, food was hardly edible. Then if you'd like to use your card to pay there is an additional 3.99% added to your bill... can't say I'll be back anytime soon.
