Longo's Italian Restaurant

The food here is always amazing! My entire family has been eating here for generations. Mr. Longo has employed some of my friends in the past as well and they say he was a pleasure to work for. Good leadership is imperative for a successful restaurant and this place has it! Keep up the good work my friend.

Order pizza at 7:00pm. It was delivered at 8:55pm looking like garbage. I understand they might be busy and delivery can be running late but when it comes looking like on top of waiting 2 hours.... So not worth it.

I cannot stress just how exceptional the manager Nick, server Sandy, the cooks and entire staff at Longo's on Lakeshore Blvd are. my niece who lives in Atlanta is getting and wanted to have her bridal shower , here in her hometown. Not knowing if Longo's could could accommodate us, I thought I'd give them a call to find out about dates, times, cost, menu options, etc. I spoke to the manager Nick and he opened the restaurant 3 hours early so that we could host an afternoon event, created special menu items, and truly everything was perfect. The food was amazing, the waitress worked so hard and kept all of the drinks full and all of our guests happy. All of our guests had wonderful things to say. Thank you, Laura Hegedus

Dined there for the first time last night with friends who eat there frequently. For starters, we sat in the back for 35 minutes before a waitress came to take our drink order. She immediately threw her co worker, the hostess, under the bus by saying the hostess didn't tell a waitress that we were here, that she's horrible and gets complaints all the time, and that she has no idea why the hostess is still employed here. It was kind of off putting. We waited another 10 or so minutes for waters and coffee to be brought to the table and roughly 30 more minutes for food to come out. We had to ask multiple people for napkins and silverware before we finally got some. The food was mediocre, but the cheesy bread was really good! Refills took awhile to come out, they lost the coffee pot for a bit so it took time to get a coffee refill. It was just a mess...It's doubtful we'd return

After a long day of working 12 hours, Ben A. Accidentally heard my order as a pickup instead of delivery. When I called back to tell the driver that my house sits further back, he answered and admitted his mistake. He then brought me my order promptly after he left work for the night even though my address was not in route for delivery. Excellent customer service and a very kind person. Thank you so much!

Horrible service! Sat for at least 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. Other people walked in after us and were served almost immediately. Many staff members made eye contact with us but never came over to our table. Very disapppinted!

Always looked forward to the fish fry. Grouper. That was last year. Just got the grouper and couldn't believe it Not much more than fish nuggets for $16 this year. To make the night even better, the Chicken Madison we ordered had no sauce, or mushrooms. Simply asked for no scallions on the dish.Won't order again. Very disappointed, and still hungry.

It was okay, the food tasted good I got bang bang shrimp the shrimp could have been more fried but thats fine, but when we entered the restaurant there was at most 3 people seated and no wait and it took 8 minutes for us to get seated when the place was practically empty. The booths were good and comfy a little stiff but other than that great.

Service was excellent. I drove an hour each direction because I was so excited that there are gluten-free pizza options. Sadly, the GF crust tasted very similar to what I imagine wet cardboard would taste like. The sauce was bland and that made it difficult to get down. I really wanted to love it but just didn't.

Just ordered using the online website. Very user friendly site that is super easy to navigate -and fast. Food was ready right away for pick up -and as always- it was delicious! Thanks for offering online ordering. Meg S.
