Lionheart Coffee

Lion Heart Coffee is a quaint little coffeeshop with a great eclectic vibe. They have a variety of fresh roasted beans that make a nice cup of your favorite drink. My latte tasted smooth, not bitter and served at a good temperature. Service is friendly. They have nice comfortable seating where you can meet friends, do work or just relax.

UPDATED REVIEW: I'm not sure why I rated their Matcha 5/5 in my previous Yelp review especially because it is made unsweetened. But even without sweetener, some Matcha's just taste better than others depending on where they are sourced or bought from. The Matcha drink here at Lionheart Coffee is really a 3.5/5 (to me) as I've had better tasting Matcha. Nonetheless, I like Lionheart Coffee as customer service has always been friendly and efficient when I've visited in the past. I don't drink coffee so I can't comment on that.I visited again on an afternoon in October 2024 to work for a few hours. I ordered their Masala Chai tea which tasted fine.I hardly visit Lionheart Coffee because I don't work downtown so I can't easily come here during the week. I don't mind visiting again if I'm in the area. Maybe I'll try a muffin or cookie next time.

Convenient location, mediocre execution. The interior of Lionheart is super cute with lots of plants and soft decor/seating. It feels really cozy. Unfortunately I was unable to stay and enjoy the atmosphere. I ordered a cafe au lait with toasted marshmallow syrup and was very shocked to see that they charge per pump of syrup. Not just for each syrup, literally per pump. I told the barista that I thought it was ridiculous but continued on. I found a nice seat at the front of the shop facing the street and attempted to connect to the WiFi. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to. I put the password in a few times and then went up to the front with my computer to check that I had the right password. I asked the barista if there was something wrong with it and was told "No. Sometimes it just stops if there are too many people on. You can try to connect to The Arcade or another business." She was very nonchalant about it and seemingly didn't care for my business. I packed up my things and left. The entire interaction was odd and uncomfortable. Maybe it was me and my annoyance about the syrup situation, but the baristas weren't very friendly either. The coffee was good, but I doubt I return anytime soon.

This could possibly be the best iced mocha I've had (well buckeye version but still) The staff was so nice especially to my toddler who enjoyed an apple muffin Prices were reasonable and the coffees were big The esthetic was amazing 12/10

Anytime I have extra time in Cleveland, im going to look for a new coffee store to try! Im so happy to have stumbled upon Lionhearts coffee, it is on my favorite list of coffee stores now! First, the options on the menu are awesome! There is a large variety of flavors to try, I highly recommend the tiramisu latte! Next, I can not get over the customer service. The barista who took our order was extremely nice, helpful, sweet, and even walked our drinks to us (which thank you again!). The ambiance in the store is also cute and chill, I'll absolutely be back!

Lovely coffee shop in downtown Cleveland, close to the Cleveland Public Square. I was in town for work and needed a pick-me-up after a two hour drive from Columbus. It was going to be a long day and I wasn't even half way through it. I found Lionheart on Yelp and it happened to be right around the corner from where I was meeting a coworker a little while later. It was exactly what I needed. I ordered their seasonal drink - Luck of the Matcha (latte) with oat milk and got some work done. The drink had Irish cream and coconut in it and it was divine! I would totally order it again. I'm always a sucker for a creative seasonal drink. The space itself was fairly small but really cozy and welcoming. I loved all the windows, greenery and the giant Cleveland mural on the wall. Heads up - they don't have a bathroom, you have to go to the neighboring business if that's needed but that was the only hiccup I ran into - no big deal at all. I would totally visit again the next time I'm in Cleveland.

I came here twice while visiting Cleveland. The first time I came the coffee was super bitter, the drink I got was hot girl summer. The second time I came I tried to do some work on my laptop but the WiFi password they show was not correct. If the WIFI worked it would be a much nicer place to hang out but instead I used my hotspot l. The drink I got the second time was much better, a nutella latte. This is the only coffee place that stays open late (they're now open till 8pm) so that is for sure a bonus for someone who needs an evening coffee break.

Downtown at other Yelp events and I just had to stop in for some coffee and some of their gluten free desserts. The coffee is great as always. They unfortunately didn't have any of the GF chocolate cake, but did have some GF peanut butter and raspberry cookies. Those were soft and the raspberry creamy filling took the stage in the taste more than the peanut butter.The coffee beans are ground right after you order. And a slow pour to brew the final product together. Wow, watching it being all assembled, Peter in motion.The spot was much more crowded since I last came through. A larger table of adults on maybe a work lunch. And a few college aged kids putting together their work with some coffee. Good to see the word has gotten out on Lionheart!!

Loved all of the specialty drinks and food available. Service was quick and easy. All of the baristas were friendly.

Honestly, can't get enough of this place! Staff is amazing and service is always quick. My coffee is always perfect. Check out my photos for some great coffee art! This location is great for working and gets a lot of traffic. lots of regulars, so creates a friendly atmosphere.
