Landerhaven by Executive Caterers

Has the name however, that is about it!Very disorganized, we waited sometimes a couple months for call backs!Did not deliver what was discussed and agreed upon.We set up the day before and day of the wedding most of our restroom essentials were stolen by staff!!!!!! Did not pay attention to detail at all!Lack experience, especially with setting up for a beautiful event.They were not ready when we arrived, they were still setting up.Dishonest about quite a few things!!!Would not return a phone call after the event to discuss pros and cons, and no follow up call from them as well!!Flowers were not as discussed!!!!We were okay with some of the wedding but it was a difficult process thru out, which should be enjoyable.Honesty is crucial in order to be a good business!

This was my second time here. The first for a wedding reception and the second for a work related gala. I can see why this is a go-to place for classy affairs. The entrance was very close to the actual ballroom. The bathrooms must have at least 20 stalls so I never had to wait in line. The ballrooms were very spacious.The food: started off with a salad, a generous portion of actual greens! No skimping with the ice berg yes! The dressing was already drizzled on, which usually I don't like but it was definitely a good dressing to salad ratio and no saturated greens at the bottom. They never asked what my meal preference was but it was a combo of strip steak and chicken! with roasted asparagus and mashed potatoes! dang that was like two meals in one! My steak was cooked the way I like, medium rare, but my neighbors sent it back for well done and the staff aimed to please. All the staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend this venue or use it for wedding reception or classy party.Also it's close to the freeway and easy to find! Choose between valet or self park but not covered parking.

I've had two dinner parties at Executive Caterers at Landerhaven and both were really awesome.My company treated us to a catered party with hors d'oeuvres and an open bar. The hors d'oeuvres were fresh, hot, and tasty. The beer and wine were also good. No cheap wine was served and it was quite tasty.The second party was the annual Christmas party, paid for by my company. We had hors d'oeuvres, open bar, soup, salad, steak, lobster, nuts, Cheeries Jubliee, Spanish coffee, and tons of cookies and cakes for dessert. This was one of the nicest, most complete meals I've ever eaten! Loved every minute of it!Since they prepared 600 meals that night, my steak and lobster were not hot, but they were warm. Both were good, but not incredible.Recommend!

I recently attended the Textile Art Alliance Fashion Show and Luncheon and was really impressed with this venue.I have super low expectations for event venues in the area (I have horror stories for days) but Landerhaven far exceeded my expectations. The parking valet is really easy and fast. The main ballroom is appropriately spacious and appears to have updated décor. The silk drapery and lights on the ceiling create a sweet ambience and the doors have an interesting Great Gatsby like pattern to them. The common areas have big bay windows with natural light.The food was also surprisingly good. So often, I find event spaces to serve bland chicken and unattractively plated entrees. This was the opposite. The lemon chicken was a generous portion, the asparagus was nicely cooked and the potato rosette was delicious. The table rounds in general were set pretty tightly which can be problematic if your guests are taller (like me) with not a lot of space to really move anything around the table at all. Otherwise, the staff was really attentive, and I would absolutely consider hosting an event here in the future!

Just got back from my daughter's wedding at Landerhaven and I could not go to sleep until I wrote my review.The event was so completely perfect - I couldn't write a bad review, even if I wanted to (Which I do NOT!).The venue was absolutely stunning, even the setting for the ceremony, and could not have been run more smoothly and professionally. The servers were all exceptional; beartenders as well.The flower centerpieces, table settings, everything was simply gorgeous.AND DO NOT forget the FOOD at Executive Caterers!! Every bite was fresh, delicious and beautifully presented! (And AGAIN, the servers were polite, efficient, and very engaging!).This was at least the 20th event we have hosted or attended at Executive Caterers at Landerhaven over the last 30 years, and we are NEVER disappointed!Looking for a party venue - or any celebration - RUN to Executive Caterers at Landerhaven!!!!

This was my fourth luncheon at Landerhaven; part of a rather large group. I must say the salad was very good, and the desert was excellent. However the main entree consisted of chunks of beef that were so fatty I could not eat them, and had to spit them delicately into a napkin. The vegetable portion consisted of roasted vegetables that were so undercooked they could not even be cut with a knife. We had to choose between three entrees, perhaps the chicken or the salmon were much more edible but I took my food home in a container but probably will not eat it.

Attended The Landerhaven this past Saturday(holiday work dinner) one word amazing! The decor was absolutely beautiful. The waiters we're professional, neatly dressed, and polite. The food delicious, by far the best Sea Bass I've ever tasted. I highly recommend this venue for any special event, great service, scrumptious food!

I would not recommend this wedding venue to anybody. Landerhaven used to have a great reputation under its old owners and we had attended many beautiful events at Landerhaven over the years. When Landerhaven got new owners and we heard they were doing an extensive renovation, we were excited because to be quite frank, the building was pretty outdated. We met with Landerhaven and saw images for renovations they were working on 1.5 years before our wedding day and they were beautiful and modern. Working with our day-of coordinator, we signed a contract. For the following several months, I heard nothing from Landerhaven despite emailing our day-of coordinator with questions. Turned out, our day-of coordinator was no longer with the company and we finally heard from our newly assigned day-of coordinator several months later. We met with her and felt confident that all the details we agreed upon in our contract had been understood. A few months before the wedding, our now second day-of coordinator told us that she actually would not be there on our wedding day and that we would be assigned a new (third) day-of coordinator. Despite asking several times who this person would be so that we could meet with them, we were told that nobody had been assigned yet. We finally got assigned a day-of coordinator just 2-3 weeks before the wedding. I asked to schedule a meeting with this person to make sure everyone was on the same page and that all details were discussed and was told that the new coordinator was cc'ed on all emails and there was no need to meet with them in person. But the worst part of our experience was on the actual day of our wedding. There are too many details to list here so I will just go over the largest issues: 1) The day-of coordinator was nowhere to be found all day/night. It was clear she never looked at our contract and had not spoken to the previous coordinator about what we had discussed. 2) # of chairs set up at each table was incorrect for reception. Bride's mother was forced to walk around from table to table, counting seats and setting up chairs. 3) staff closed all sides of the tent during the ceremony causing 2 family members to pass out due to the June heat. 4) we were promised a paper walkway to be laid down in the tent for the ceremony to avoid my dress dragging on the cement. this did not happen and the bottom of my dress was torn up because of this. 5) Dinner took 1.5 hours to get out between first plate and last plate served. Vendors also did not get their meals when they were supposed to, throwing off the entire schedule. completely unacceptable, especially since Landerhaven prides themselves on being a "catering company". 6) our family heirloom cake cutting knife, cake topper, and religious items were lost by staff, most of which only to be found at the end of the night as we were leaving. 7) bartenders did not know how to make simple drinks. 8) we were promised a second bar set-up in the ballroom during reception which simply was not there. When meeting with management afterwards to discuss these plus SO many other issues, we were told it was our fault for not meeting with the (third) coordinator before the wedding day (we tried to!) and for not hiring our own wedding planner. We were completely shocked by their response. I had sent them a full minute-by-minute schedule, excel spreadsheets with number of guests per table and their chosen meals, everything imaginable! Our second coordinator even said to me in an email "you are the most organized bride I have ever worked with"..... yet, according to their VP and president, when they completely f- up, its the customer's fault. Never a single apology. Their new management clearly does not hold the same standards that the old owners did- blaming their customers for all of their own mistakes. Thats definitely a good way to get a bad reputation in a tight-knit community.

had my wedding here in aug . It was a last stitch effort to have my wedding since last Years venue was canceled because of covid. They had all of aug available so I went with it . Granted the place is nice ! The first event planner I had just one day stopped taking my calls . When I went for my dinner tasting the lady,Who arranged that told me I would be if be contacting her from then out. If you want a event planner that answers the phone , is excited to helpAnd there if you have questions this isn't the place for you! Doesn't matter how much you pay because I spent over 16k and couldn't get simple questions answered for weeks at a time! I honestly feel like being a younger black couple they just didn't take us serious or we weren't a realPriority ! The food at the tasting was delish The food at my wedding was blah. Nothing like what I tried . Also my event planner didn't even show the day of !!! They charge for every little teeny tiny thing ! If you give them a budget , prepare to go over ! Seem like their more interested in events like shows and pop up shops over weddings ! The service staff I will say , considering my event planner didn't show was AMAZING! I know they were stressed but they were the best part ! The barmaids all the service staff ! I wouldn't recommend thisPlace for the amount of money they want ! Their customer service sucks.. Oh and the supervisor couldCare less lol . My wedding was beautiful but I feelLike they made it more stressful then it had to be ! And the excuses never run out lol soJust pay and plan by yourself and hope it works out !
