The wine was excellent, the scenery was beautiful, and the music was the best! And the owner was super friendly.

I'd give this place 4 stars for the wine and 2 stars for the atmosphere. I was excited when I saw this place from the outside. It looks like an old barn, and you could see the vines as soon as you drove in. There was also a nice seating area to the side. Unfortunately it was too cold to sit outside, so we made our way in. The tasting room is small and unassuming, though the staff was friendly and personable. After our tastings, we went into the seating area. There was really nothing to it-some old couches and tables that looked second hand, concrete floors, and a bathroom that had a portapotty inside (yuck). Overall, it felt like an old, cold basement where you didn't really want to hang out. On the plus side, the wine was really good. I rarely go to wineries in Ohio and enjoy each wine in the tasting, but I did here. My mom and I even want to go back before the holidays to buy some bottles as gifts-that's how much we liked it. Overall, I'd say the wine makes this place worthwhile, but come when it's warm and sit outside or take your wine to go.
