Lake Anna Hall

Loved having my wedding here the people so accommodating and pricing was worth it !! Would recommend to friends and large families !!

The Hall itself is not a bad looking place. It is clean and orderly and would have looked nice with the promised floor plan and/or seating etc. The man we dealt with to originally book the hall was nice at first meeting as well. This all led me to book the hall for the reception at my September wedding.However, personal problems led me to have to cancel my reservation. Per the event contract the hall got to keep the deposit, but anything else was owed back to me. I canceled in April and was told two weeks and I would have my refund. Three weeks passed and still no refund. So I called again and got no answer. After so long a time and not hearing back from the hall, my mom tries her luck, but she also gets the answering machine. The man we met with finally calls back. He says they are behind in their finances, but that I will definitely have my money in June. Skip ahead it is 3 weeks into June and my fiance decides he'll call to remind the hall and he, in turn, gets no answer. 6 days before the end of June my mom gives it another try and gets the answering machine again. After threatening to report the hall to the Better Business Bureau the man says he will have my refund back to me within a week. Tomorrow (Wednesday- July 1st (mind you he also claimed I would definitely get my refund back in June)) is the end of that week and yet I still have no refund. It is beginning to get very frustrating.This is why Lake Anna Hall earned two stars from me. They are nice at first impression, and though I don't know for certain if you do not have complications they might not be a bad place. However, if there is ANY reason that something AT ALL may arise where you have to cancel, reschedule or otherwise... I would reconsider. They have been giving us the runaround for almost two months now and I certainly cannot honestly recommend this place to anyone.
