So we have just embarked on the Lake County Taco Trail. We found this quest in the Ohio Magazine. There are 23 Mexican Restaurants in Lake County Ohio. (National Chains not included). You receive 100 points for each confirmed checkin. There are prizes! 250 points a Taco Trail Key Chain. 450 points a Taco Trail Shot Glass. 1200 Points a Taco Trail T-Shirt!So this is our first stop!!'I ordered the barbacoa street tacos. It came with three I added the avocado sauce and cilantro. The tray included a roasted jalapeño and full onion. Very tasty. On the side I had some marinated veggies-cauliflower, potatoes, peppers and carrots. The marinate was with vinegar and spices. The only thing they may want t to work on is tidying up a bit!

Authentic Mexican food, great prices. Counter service with a salsa and topping bar so you can add to your street tacos, the burrito was great and the chips and salsa were elite.

My wife and I stopped in for dinner the other night. I got the street tacos with beef and she got the Texas tacos with beef. We both enjoyed them very much.

I have lived in San Diego, California. And many of times in my travels no matter where I am. I look for the most authentic Mexican food that I can find. I was very pleased and with one bite I was taken back to Mexico. I truly enjoyed the original authentic taste of these tacos. I would highly recommend, anybody who is looking for a authentic Mexican dining or lunch establishment to go to La Casita. I will be back many more times to enjoy their delicious food.

Great place to grab some food in Painesville. It's a little out of the way from the downtown area but worth it. The Menu is on TV's above the register when you walk in. There are not a ton of options but what we had was delicious. I had the three street tacos, beef, which also came with chips and several different kinds of salsa. The chips were made fresh and tasted good. The salsa's also had good flavor as well. I believe there was a mild, a green, and a hot. I really enjoyed the hot salsa. The tacos were amazing and the meat was juicy and hot. They came with onions and salsa to put on. I also put some of that hot salsa on and was not disappointed. The lunch also came with a grilled jalapeno and onion too. I love heat but that grilled jalapeno almost did me in. I am not afraid to admit I could not eat it all and did she's a tear from my mouth being on fire. My lunch partner had the chicken burrito and raved about it.In all it was a great experience and very inexpensive especially for lunch. We will definitely be back.

Had a beef burrito and it was delicious! This place is way different from the place they had before. There is a store and beside it is the Restaurant called the Taqueria. It's very clean and although the price is a bit high, ( 9 bucks for a burrito), I will def go back !

Great place for authentic Mexican food. A wide variety of proteins ranging from barbacoa to fish to chicken and tripe. The tortillas for the street tacos were fresh and flavorful. Onion and cilantro is served on the side with your choice of red or green salsa. Green salsa had a nice kick of heat. Some tables if you'd like to eat in. Or you can get it to go. There's a well-stocked tienda next door too, if you need some pantry items, meat, produce, or bakery.

Very nice ambiance, and nice location - very close to my job and right next to a cute little Mexican market with pan dulce and other cool foods and spices. It took around 15-20 minutes for my 3 tacos al pastor to be ready, and they were SO juicy and delicious. The meat was very tender and well-seasoned, the cilantro and onions fresh, and they had a nice yet basic and no-frills selection of sauces. And for less than $10 - including a drink from the fridge - I thought it was a pretty good deal! Great customer service as well, and I love supporting local businesses. I will definitely be going back.

Excellent food and very authentic. No frills, order at the counter and our food was ready in about 10 minutes. Portion size was generous. They have a garnish and sauce bar that was very fresh. Great place for lunch and an interesting Mexican grocery market next door made this a great visit!
