Came out on a Thursday night from Pittsburgh super pumped to try the short rib bolognese. Just before we were about to order, server said that's what they were out of. We then tried to order a blueberry salad on the menu and that was "out of season" so not available either. I ended up ordering plain Alfredo and a side pizza as an appetizer. It came with a dry piece of chicken that I never asked for and a $6 upcharge on our bill. The mushroom arugula pizza had solid flavor and the balsamic was mild. The Alfredo was fine but significantly lacked salt. Not a place I'd drive 50 miles to come back to if online menu is unreliable. Our server was very friendly though.

Purchased their wine at Giant Eagle and loved it, so after looking them up, I realized they were local. I decided to stop in for a tasting and lunch. I was pleasantly surprised at the offerings. They had brunch with Santa and New Year's Eve dining in addition to daily lunch and dinner options. Loved the wine. The Mimosas made it easy for me to enjoy at home on the weekends without making them myself, and the Rosé was great, too. This is a place I highly recommend for a planned trip, or you can stop by while you're out running errands.

I want to love this place. The inside is beautiful, the service is tremendous, the wine is sweet and delicious, so I would definitely keep coming back for that, but the food is...better than fine, but not delish. I had the Asiago gnocchi and it was bland and all one texture. To be fair, the description says soft pillowy gnocchi, but with the creamy sauce and the very, very soft pillows it was just a lot of one note. My date got the Brier Hill pizza and it was watery-Not inedible, but for a town that thrives on it's Italian cuisine, I wanted more. The Italian Greens were very good and had a nice kick. I'm not saying I wouldn't come again. I am saying I will always have a glass of wine if I do.

Food was great. Great atmosphere but a little noisy. I enjoyed the wine too. It was our first time and the server gave a sample of three reds before we ordered a bottle. I'll go back!

Really nice spot just a mile up the road from a hidden waterfall! (Look up the new state park called Quaker Falls.) Amazing sangria and roasted artichokes. The artichokes are completely vegan. Definitely worth a day trip! Pro tip: visit the falls before you head to the winery.

Hubs & I were here for my uncle's 86th b'day party. I got the lamb lollipops as my entree and they're were not as good as what I cooked a couple days earlier. They had a ..gamy, strong taste. I did hold the mint chimichuri , which would have only covered up the taste. The hubs got the Mediterranean shrimp scampi which he said was ""ok". Not a fan of their food. Other family members didn't like their gnocchi or other entrees either. Maybe we're just snobby Italians.

It's nice to have a winery in the area to go with all the great Italian places. L'uva Bella seems to specialize in the sweeter fare, with several fruit wines including Apple, Blackberry, and Blueberry to compliment some more familiar flavors like Niagara, Catawba, and Muscat. Additionally, the Youngstown Red is reminiscent of the parties you'd have with the whole family down in grandpa's basement kitchen. When in town, I love to visit here and enjoy some classic red sauce Italian and imbibe with a flight of wines. There are plenty to try. If you are into those big, bold and dry flavors you get from Cabernet Sauvignon, this might not be your first choice in wineries, but L'uva Bella is one of only a few you'll find in the area and one of a kind when you consider the delicious meals that they plate.

Our intentions-wine tasting! We sat at the bar and our bar tender Tiffany was awesome. She knew her wines very well and had great suggestions for ALL of us. Meat and cheese plate was large enough for six and delicious. My husband ordered a meatball hoagie to go. I anticipate it will taste just as good as the wine. Which, we ended up purchasing numerous bottles of wine; and learning about "wine passports."

Our visit last night was a contrast of really good food but a sort of "meh" experience overall so the best I can give is 3 stars. We walked in to find a very noisy but still cozy dimmly lit winery setting full of tables of happy diners. Sadly, we didn't get to sit in this room, we were taken to a very bright side room that had one table of 8 people and another table that ran the length of the narrow room with about 30 or so people attending a church party. We were seated at a 2-top in the corner. We had a reservation but I felt like we'd been squeezed in at the last minute and it really felt like we were intruding on the other party's fun.Service started out great with a very attentive waiter who told us that he was waiting for a rehearsal dinner to start but they were over an hour late. We got our appetizer quickly, salad/soup while we were still eating our app and then a bit of a gap waiting on food. I had chicken marsala which was quite good served with mashed potatoes that were really good but nowhere near hot enough. My husband had chicken parm that he said was good as well. Bread showed up mid-way through our entrees after the waiter asked if we wanted some. That was the last we saw of our waiter as his rehearsal dinner showed up. From there, a busser took our plates, the waitress for the big table did all she could to not look at us and our waiter dashed back and forth to the big party not looking our way at all. After somewhere between 20-30 minutes, we went off in search of the host to get our bill. He pulled it up with no problem but no apologies for the fact that we'd had to seek it out ourselves. I understand they were busy and dealing with a late party so perhaps this was an anomaly but it wasn't the experience I'd hoped for.

Hosted a baby sprinkle there last weekend and it was very well done. The chef worked with us to develop a menu that accommodated our gluten free and vegetarian guests. The food was delicious, the hostess was wonderful, and our server was absolutely fantastic. We will always remember the wonderful event.
