I have eaten these pierogis my entire life. They are all things a pierogi should be perfect dough, filled with wonderful flavors ( cheese & potato) the best! They Float quickly and fry like a dream! My children are now 4th generation janka fans. The best in the city, maybe the world.

I get the $25.00 5lb. box of pierogi. This is an ethnic butcher shop in the Slavic Village neighborhood of Cleveland. They have been here for many years. The 5lb. box has 24 pierogi in it. The pierogi are very big. They sell in grocery stores under the Janka name. If you want to experience true ethnic Cleveland before a family party get some pierogi from Krusinskis, some from Peter's Market (nearby Garfield Heights), bakery from Seven Roses (Fleet Avenue), and then go to the West Side Market.

I personally have never been here, but I have had my girl pal at work bring me back pierogies when she goes home to visit. I'm a Chicago Gal who lives in California who is Polish and misses her ethnic foods. These are as good as grandma used to make way back when. I wonder if they would ship them here to So. California? It would be worth it to me and my parents. Delicious food.

Location is tucked away. Its not easy to find because the name doesn't stand out. They have all kinds of meat, czarnina and other Polish goods. Right on the edge of Slavic Village a stone's throw from St. Stanislaus. The Pierogis are homemade which is commendable but they are very doughy. Prices are rather high. The place also smells like cigarette smoke. I would like to think they are not smoking while preparing food. Krakow in Parma is cleaner and they have a better variety.

I always come here for their potato and American cheese pierogis. They taste delicious and are very filling. Moreover, the service is great, the people are very friendly and willing to answer any questions. Love coming here!

Better pierogis than my Polish grandmother made! They are the best. The store is tucked away in one of the old neighborhoods but safe and worth the trip. Nice people, good comfort food. They are closed on Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays.

The best pierogies I've ever had anywhere I've been in the States or Europe. They have been a part of our traditional Polish Christmas Eve dinners for as long as I can remember. Homemade, stuffed well, and delicious. Always worth the trip into the city to pick them up. Recommend calling for hours. They are closed on several days of the week.

My husband and I stopped in at Krusinski's Meats after finding them on the internet. The shop is sadly not fully stocked, but we were so happy to be able to get some pierogi's, smokies, smoked kielbasa and sauerkraut balls. The owner, John was so nice and helpful and he let us sample the smokies and smoked kielbasa-Yum! We loaded up our cooler and can't wait to try the pierogi's. God Bless you John, it was an honor to meet you.
