Krieg's Strawberry Farm and Market

Great farm market!This small market has a lot to offer. The fresh produce looked ripe and delicious. They have a variety of boxed items, jarred jam, ice cream. Plenty of options to make a family dinner. I love the homemade peanut butter machine. They take peanuts and turn it into peanut butter with no additives. Fresh and delicious.

I enjoy Krieg's Farm Market; their produce is excellent. I drive over for their peaches and mushrooms. The mushrooms are $3.99 a pound; they're large and also stuffable. I make a Creamy French Mushroom Soup, so I need a lot of mushrooms, and they're big enough to stuff! Yummy. They have a custard stand off to the side called It'z, and there is always a long line. They'll offer weekly and seasonal flavors. The ambiance is very casual. Regarding markets, it depends on what you are looking for; the corn is almost ready in the area. I haven't been disappointed yet.

I was on my way to Vermillion to meet a friend. As I was driving I came across this small gem on the side of the road. Of course I had to stop. This place also had a small custard stand right in the parking lot. I didn't have a taste for custard but everyone I heard was raving about it. The prices of the items inside were on both sides of the scale. Some very reasonable. Others slightly too high. I bought the strawberry rhubarb pie. It was $13.99. I would say for a pie it was about two dollars too high. All in all. If you are out this way. You have to stop.

We were in Vermillion, just out for a drive and I did a Yelp search for ice cream. This place came up and was highly recommended, so we stopped. They claim to have THE BEST CUSTARD. Now, We are custard lovers and have tried many places - this custard was smooth, creamy and flavorful. Maybe not the Best, but it was really good. If you're in the area, stop. They have a little market and this little custard stand. It's cute and decent :)

This place is great! Always good produce and awesome ice cream. They bed thing about their ice cream is that their soft serve custard changes flavors regularly. Every flavor from, banana, pistachio, watermelon, black cherry and more!

This trip (my 3rd) to Krieg's I didn't pick any strawberries. I wasn't on a first date, but my eleventieth date with RBJ. We took some time on a hot summer afternoon to explore Lorain county and I suggested we make the 10 minute drive from Vermilion to Krieg's. The produce appears to be fresh, and the signs indicate "garden grown." I am inclined to believe the produce is local, because sometimes the produce has a sign that says "Tennessee" or something, indicating the items are not from Ohio. The prices aren't as cheap as you see along a desolate country road where someone has set up a card table to sell their excess veggies, but they aren't more than a grocery store either. I really didn't need anything so I only bought ice cream. Oh, the ice cream. I can't really comment on the flavor or quality of the "custard" because Krieg's uses fresh berries in its milkshakes. All I tasted was awesome blackberry goodness. I felt like I was slurping heaven through a straw. You can't miss the ice cream, and you'd better get it with berries. The sign reads "frozen custard" but I don't know that it is actually custard.

Everything including custard ice cream flavors = great! Beautiful floral baskets too!

Love this place ! From the produce to the custard . Not far from our house . Love , love , love it all & the customer service !

To the racist old lady that works there -- English is not my wife's first language. Consider that when you're speaking to people of color. Secondly, I don't appreciate your son giving my wife attitude and telling her where she has to pick -- and then he throws two small strawberries in her bucket that she didn't want. Again, don't assume she understands what you're saying. Y'all have a lot to learn about customer service. We were long time customers but we won't be back.

Honestly some of my favorite of all time. I get a black raspberry shake like 3 times a week in the summer
