Tucked into a little plaza near the Millcreek Mall, you might pass it by as it is very unassuming. DON'T!! I decided to try this restaurant after driving by it several times. The food is very good!! I ordered a shrimp egg roll as an appetizer, and it was perfectly fried, perfectly crispy. I then decided to order one of their meals, which included your choice of white or fried rice, and choice of Wonton, Egg Drop or Hot and Sour soup. I ordered the fried rice which was very good, and the wonton soup was good as well. My entree was the Shrimp & Snow Peas.... excellent!! The portion was large, and it came with 4 very large shrimp. The meal was excellent! They have some indoor seating, and prior to my food being served they brought out fried little crispy things with a side of Duck sauce for dipping. I highly recommend this place!

Decided to try Kirin Court tonight for the first time and was very pleased! Ordered online and went in to pick up. The lady behind the counter was nice and the food was ready when we got there in about 15 minutes. The inside was well lit and appeared to be clean. The portions aren't overly huge, but they are more than sufficient. The food was hot, fresh and packaged well. The prices are about standard for any Chinese takeout these days. Everything we ordered totaled about $38. Not bad for three meals. We got the black pepper chicken with fried rice, chicken lo mein with pork fried rice, the sweet and sour shrimp with brown rice, and an egg roll.It was just as good as any of the other good Chinese spots I've had. The black pepper chicken is something I was excited about because it's the more crispy type chicken with black pepper like on a lot of Chinese buffets rather than the saucy version. We will definitely be back!

We've lived in Erie for 18 years and have searched for decent Chinese food. Cleveland and Pittsburgh seem more welcoming for non-American cuisine, and there is always more than one great place to choose from.We just finished take-out dinner from Kirin Court for my daughter's birthday, and it was excellent. The chicken broccoli I ordered had plenty of fresh chicken, and fresh broccoli in balanced amounts. Many take-outs in Erie have chicken that seems jelly-like, and you always get a pound of carrots and broccoli for a small smattering of chicken. Not here, you get a lot for your money. The other members of the family ordered General Tso's, Sichuan Beef and Beef with Garlic Sauce, all well balanced between meat and vegetables and everything was fresh. We have a Chinese exchange student living with us, and he loved his Chicken Lo Mein. Obviously this wasn't the best Chinese he's ever eaten (ha!), but he said it was very good and high quality. We ordered a WonTon soup, which was perfect. Not salty at all! Most Erie Chinese places, the soup is salty enough to give you heart issues, again not here. The whole dinner was well packed for the ride home, and one of the bags we are saving for grocery shopping reusable bagging. They gave us an orange as well along with a heap of fortune cookies, sauces and the like. I hope Kirin's keeps up the good work, and we will keep coming back!

I loved the food. I recommend the chicken lo mein but the chicken is a bit overcooked. The service was nice and quick. And I loved the vibe of this place. It was likd a hidden gem. Definitely go try it!

There's a fairly new Chinese restaurant in town. This is the kind of Chinese restaurant Erie has needed. Tucked away in an unassuming shopping center next to a smoke shop, it would be easy to overlook this establishment, but that would be a terrible thing to do.The owners and their kids are friendly. The food is delicious. When placing a to-go order, the waiting area is very cutesy designed, and your order is ready fast. When you dine in, you're served extremely fast, as well. This place would be good for small groups to share a meal.I've had so many delicious things from here, it would be hard to single out just one favorite. Maybe the chicken lo mein, maybe the boneless spare ribs? I know my wife is just wild about their Boba milk teas. If I had to gripe about anything at all, I'd say that for the prices, the portions seem to be on the smaller side, or containers are not so full that they're bursting at the seams like most Chinese restaurants tend to do, and the soup you get with your lunch special is in a container that is literally half the size of one you'd get most anywhere else. So, while I have one of the tastiest meals ever, I'm sometimes still left a little hungry at the end. Still, I love this place and it's a wonderful welcome to this beautiful city.

Ordered takeout / Delivery. Food was delivered promptly and was a competitive price. The 2 small sized entrees were ok. (Lo mein & chicken broccoli) The soup and fried rice were disappointing: The wonton soup was bland and the wontons were under cooked. The fried rice was bland and looked undercooked. It looked like the chicken and vegetables were quickly mixed into the white rice. No chop sticks were supplied. Overall pretty disappointing!

This place is really clean, and friendly and the food was quite good. Service (1 star): answered right away, there was a bit of a communications issue but it was cleared up quickly. Food was ready for pickup 10 minutes after I called. (lunch time).Food (1 star) I ordered Kung Pao chicken combination. Pork friend rice had veggies and pork bits but no egg so that was a minor nit. It was listed as spicy but it was not spicy at all but it had very good flavor. Good quality chicken (some places use fatty chicken) The sweet and sour soupl was also quite good with large veggies and whole mushrooms so it was quite legit but again--not very spicy. I recommend ordering food "extra spicy" if you like a little burn. Parking/facilities (1 star) Easy to find (behind dunkin donuts on Peach), ample parking, well-lit location, I saw an array of tables and a couple of booths if you want to eat in. I would give it a half star deduction as her children were at the restaurant and one was whining loudly but as a parent I could look past it. Friendliness (1 star): very friendly as I mentioned, it feels very new inside, and they double-checked my order and receipt before I left. Overall Value: (1 star) With the exception of the lack of spice (albeit good flavor) and a slightly noisy child behind the counter, I found my experience very nice so I will round up the 4.5 to 5. For $9 it is a good deal for lunch to go.I will be back.

First time here. Cute, clean and service was great. The fried dumplings were home made and so was the garlic dumpling sauce...both delicious! We are sure the chicken for the sweet and sour chicken was hand breaded...batter was light and very crunchy, really good. My husband has ordered egg foo yong in a lot of places and he says this was top notch. The gravy was a bit different than the usual...but he really liked it! We will be back.
