King's Tandoor & Bar

I thought this Indian food was great! It had been several years since I had been to a good Indian restaurant - I live in LA where good Indian food isn't evenly dispersed throughout the region - so I was excited to try something while staying in Solon. The restaurant did feel empty on. Tuesday night, but I think this is mostly because it was, well, Tuesday, and most restaurants seem to be Uber and Door Dash hubs now. But the server was super kind and friendly, in sort of a mothering way, inviting us to sit down and bringing out warm pappadam to eat with chutneys. It was great!I had a hot chai, and my coworkers enjoyed some icy mango lassis. I ordered channa masala, medium spicy, and it was certainly spicy and delicious. Heaps of basmati came out with it, as well as a sampler of pakoras and samosas with some fluffy chewy naan. The meal was fantastic, and the service felt very personal. I would definitely return!

I came back to finally taste the lunch buffet and it was delicious. The spice level was perfect, not too spicy. It was not crowded and the server was amazing! I tried every item out and everything was delicious!

The lunch buffet was absolutely amazing! My favorite items were the Butter Chicken, Mixed Vegetables, Shrimp Eggrolls, Zucchini Masala, mixed pickle, pineapple (seriously the ripest, sweetest one I've ever tasted), cardamom rice pudding (sorry didn't catch the name!) and Masala tea (which came with the buffet)! It was $16.99 for all-you-can eat and the service was lovely! Ambiance was upscale with cloth napkins! I cannot wait to go back!

I've got to say it is not what I was expecting. I thought it was more like a "fast food" version of Indian cuisine from the outside. I was pleasantly surprised that on the inside (even for lunch) I was met with an open and inviting atmosphere and white table cloths. We had the buffet lunch and even as a buffet style, the food was very good. I thought it was a little tame in flavor and the spicy sauces needed more zip and fire...but this is probably to appease a broader audience with the simplified and juvenile American palate that will cry with too much heat. It was a bit pricey and all parties need cutlery, not just what is left on the table from previous diners, though. They will be my local Indian restaurant when I need a tandoor chicken fix.

We had been wanting to try this place for awhile and finally stopped in on a Friday evening around 8pm. We were the only customers in the entire restaurant. We ordered the lamb vindaloo spice level 2 and the chicken tikka masala spice level 1 with garlic naan. Both dishes were good but spicier than we expected. I was able to eat my tikka but it definitely had a kick I didn't really want. The naan was tasty. I see that they offer a lunch buffet - I wish they also offered this at dinner. The servers were kind but told us they needed to close and asked us to settle up our bill while we were still eating. They began vacuuming around us and that made us feel a bit uncomfortable. We also saw that they had a nice big bar and wanted to sit there but they had no bar stools. If you like your Indian food with more spice, I'd recommend trying this place maybe for takeout. We probably won't come back just because there are other great Indian places nearby that suit our spice level a bit better and make us feel more welcome.

Stopped in here last night for dinner since we could walk from our hotel. It was an unexpected gem. Great food. Ambience was typical of most Indian restaurants, pretty simple. Definitely recommend it if you are in town for work like me and a few coworkers.

I should have taken it is a sign that at 5:30pm on a Saturday night, I was the only customer for take out and that not a sole was dining in; not even lonely soul at the very nice bar.I paid $18.99 for 6 pieces of chicken and a small fistful of onion. To add, the Chicken Tikka Masala was nearly flavorless.No rice, no naan, nothing but chicken for $20. What a scam!

We went to King's Tandoor for the first time. The food was excellent and the service was friendly and prompt. We will definitely go back.

This place is phenomenal. Stopped here on a work trip and ordered the tandoori mixed plate. Food was flavorful and hot. Service was great. 11/10 recommend.

The staff was so incredibly friendly, exceptional service. Food was incredible, I ordered the paneer tikka masala and tandoori roti. The best masala I have had, even better than my favorite Indian restaurant in another city. Comfortable relaxing environment to eat dinner. Will definitely return to this restaurant.
