My friend and I dined here and had a positive experience overall. I had the Koshari. I've never eaten Egyptian food before, so I don't know how this ranks in comparison. I thought it was okay, but my friend who loves Egyptian food said it was very good in addition to her meal. We notified the person taking our order/serving us that someone forgot to add the red sauce my dish comes with, and upon being notified of the error, she rushed to fix it and provided a complimentary dessert. The ambiance is relaxed and has interesting memorabilia and pictures on the walls.

If you are a huge fan of middle eastern food (particularly Egyptian food) like I am, I highly recommend King Tut. I have been meaning to try this place for over a year now, and was so excited to see that they have begun offering evening hours for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays until 7. The interior is small but lovely with a coffee shop kind of feel. Do not let that discourage the diner in you - their food is on par with any traditional sit down restaurant. Offering a full menu of traditional Egyptian dishes (kosahry, hawashy, Alexandria beef liver, etc), there is something for everyone here. The owner was so kind and warm and comes from Cairo, herself. My friend and I came on a Saturday at 5 and shared the hawashy, koshary, falafel, and fries. We both had traditional Egyptian mint tea. And we finished it off with a large slice of baklava. The shop also offers some Turkish options such as Turkish coffee and kunefe dessert. Prices are very reasonable ($14-16) for an entree and even the music is traditional Egyptian which I loved. I cannot wait to come back to try more of the menu - everything was delicious, hot and fresh, and it fondly reminds me of my favorite little restaurants in Cairo.

The custard dessert was flavorless. We wound up throwing it out. The falafel was good but looked like it was just frozen nuggets that were cooked. I'd like to know if they are made in house or just purchased already prepared. The stuffed grape leaves were mostly rice and small in size.

This is such a lovely tiny place. While the place is small, the owners have done a wonderful job at decorating it in a cozy and stylish way. The owner is a very friendly, positive, and hospitable man. He clearly is very passionate about this restaurant. The restaurant is very low keg, the food is delicious - visit and get a taste of Egyptian street food. The falafel, fava beans, chicken sandwich, koshari, and tea were amazing. He was out of the kunafeh, wish I got some of that. My friends loved the meat (it was a bit too fatty for my taste) but it was pretty good and flavorful - just a preference I am used to lean meat (dietary restriction kinda). Anyway, definitely stop by!

This place was so CUTE!!!! The vibe with all the photos of the Egyptian actors and actresses was so excellent. The sandwich was very well made! I thought the fries would taste better but they were just regular fries tbh - the seasoning on them was out of this world though. The lady helping up front was super nice and gave her recommendations for what she would eat. The place was pretty full for closing an hour before we got there. The baklava as well added a nice little dessert for the end of the meal! The ice cream on it added just the extra touch to make it absolutely stellar! Will definitely be coming again!

It was Saturday and we were in the mood for Mediterranean food. That being said, the local offerings have been getting a little old so we decided to try something new. King tut popped up on yelp so I made the 20 minute drive over from Twinsburg. The location is cozy and nicely decorated with posters and photographs of Egypt, and even a little reading nook with two chairs and a selection of books. The offerings would be familiar to those familiar with a variety of Mediterranean food like chicken rolls and beef rolls, seasoned fries, falafel, and foule. I ordered the Nerfirtiti roll (chicken) and the Snefro (beef). I also ordered falafel, foule, seasoned fries, and two types of dessert, including baklava, and one whose name I don't recall, but which features a custard-like center with a crispy outer shell.Everything was delicious. I especially Foule which was well seasoned and topped with tomatoes and onions. I actually had the leftovers the next morning with two eggs on top for breakfast. The beef was very similar to kofta. My wife's chicken roll was outstanding, and she kept raving about it. all in all, a great experience, and we will return.

Our visit started out great with a friendly welcome & well decorated interior. Pretty straightforward place. Order at counter and find a seat. Don't feel rushed away to eat at home; the interior does welcome you to stick around.A friend that recently spent 3 wks in Egypt recommended a couple items, which did not disappoint. Enjoyed all of the items and look forward to trying more on our next return. In particular, I'm interested in their unique breakfast offerings.Noticed they sell the seasoning for their fries. Now that I've tried them, I definitely want to bring it home to use more broadly, especially air popped popcorn.Take note: they are open longer than currently listed on Yelp.

ASTOUNDING !!! ASTOUNDING !!! ASTOUNDING !!! TEN stars out of TEN stars!Cleveland is like a second home for me. I travel to this city often and always look for great Med. restaurants to visit while here. This restaurant is by far-and-away the *best* Mediterranean/Mideastern food locale in all of the Cleveland metro area, possibly Ohio. I have visited many such restaurants throughout the state. You will not be disappointed. Excellent bang for the buck: extremely delicious food with sizable portions but very reasonable prices. The owners are truly lovely, amicable people: Coptic Orthodox Christians from Egypt who really know their craft inside and out. (For those not in the know, Copts are known to be an extremely hard-working, industrious, creative, and well educated people).
