Kiflis Bakery & Café

Ambiance: feels abandoned or like it's u set renovations. But it's not, they just no longer do table service since Covid, it's been difficult to hire help. Though we did sit & enjoyed our cup of Joe and pastries. Service: guy behind the counter was a bit quiet but kind and answered questions we had about the different bakery goods, breads and other options. Baked goods : I wish I could remeber the names of the various items we ordered and purchase to take home. They have this croissant textured cheesy type bread. I ordered it savory. Tho they have sweet options too. We took some cookies and fresh bread home as well. Everything was delicious, fresh and many things were still warm. I'd come again to pick stuff up but not dine in. Bakeries were unique and delicious. Not something you'd get at your local grocery store bakery dept. so worth it to bring home a stash.

Cannot give a lower #. We used to frequent here but no longer. stale pastries. Do not recommend! No customer service. Rude & disrespectful! Used foul language Will not be back!

Great god! The overwhelming Nasty smell of lard! I tried to focus on rum balls,but it was just too hard.

Lovely people. Delicious food that I've never found anywhere else. Highly recommend everyone try it at least once. I bet you'll go back.

Stopped in yesterday morning while out running errands just to try something new. I ended up getting a cinnamon roll and it was honestly one of the best I've ever had!! I will definitely be returning whenever the craving for a pastry strikes.

I usually go to Blue Door Cafe which is just across the street from Kiflis however, I was feeling adventurous. Boy, I am so happy I stopped in! The food is incredibly filling, delicious and made with love. I would say the baked goods are on par with Blue Door's quality with more of a value! This is an unpretentious establishment with a very talented baker. I ordered the cevapi which was filled generously with sausage links sandwiched between two thick pieces of homemade bread. This sandwich could easily feed two people. My only complaint is I wish there was a sauce besides sour cream to add to the sandwich. Because of the size and amount of sausage, I grew bored after eating half of it. But please don't let this discourage you from eating it. It is really great! I've never had a sandwich like this before and was impressed with how tasty the bread was. It was fluffy, thick and lightly crisp around the edges. I also had the privilege of trying a piece of their baklava and apple strudel. I was presented with a bag of strudel instead of a piece sprinkled with powdered sugar that I see on other reviews. That was a little off putting however, I think it is because I came in right before closing time and I think they were trying to do minimal work. The apple strudel is decent and I appreciate it can be ripped into sticks. Although, there could have been more apple filling. The baklava was very tasty and drenched in honey. I would come back to try their other pastries. The food is worth a try and the price is average price. I would definitely come back to try more dishes on the menu :)

Was looking for something close to my family. Don't find to many Serbian and Croatian restaurants around. Food was very good. Definitely satisfied and will come again

The crepe and coffee was exactly what I needed on this crisp fall day. So glad the place next door was busy or we would have missed out.

My wife just got some butter cookies from them (first time we've tried Kiflis) and they are the best butter cookies I've ever had (sorry Grandma). We're going to have to try other things.

This place is definitely a hidden gem. Every time I would go to the hospital where my wife works. I would always notice that there was nobody in the parking lot so one day I decided to go and had some of the most amazing baked goods especially their cinnamon rollsand a couple other items. They have a little specialty shop in another room with a bunch of different items one I enjoy was a spicy eggplant and roasted red pepper spread. It's delicious next time I'm in Cuyahoga Falls. I will definitely be stopping in.
