We went to this ice cream shop tonight. My chocolate ice cream was filled with ice crystals. My husband ordered a large hot fudge sundae. His ice cream was one very small scoop, a little chocolate sauce, and a lot of whip cream not acceptable. This is the second time we've been there that we have been disappointed ever again.

Amazing homemade ice cream in Kent! Generous portions! They don't skimp on toppings!!!!! Yummmy!!!!!! Worth the drive! Creamy ice cream. I recommend the hand dipped hard ice cream because the toppings hold up so well. Friendly staff and outdoor seating too. If you get the hard ice cream, eat quickly....melts fast on a warm day.

Went here for the first time about a month ago. I gotta say the hand made waffle cones are the best bang for your buck. The mouth of the cone is massive, bigger then any other waffle cone I have ever seen. They fill it up, then start counting the scoops! So one scoop is really about four.I got the brownie sundae which was smaller then I had hoped it would be but, the flavors were good and ratio was good.Right across the street is a Dairy Queen but this place is the spot to f you are in Kent.

Ice cream is good 99% of the time. Do not order the hot apple dumpling. I've tried it twice. Both times it was raw dough and swimming in a cinnamon juice. Yuck

Post your hours correctly it's not that difficult I have people from out of town I showed up there at 9:15 do you have all the windows Closed in the open light off and your hours are posted till 10 PMI know and this time is difficult to get help but you can at least update your hours on the Internet so I don't make a needless trip and make me look like an idiot in front of my friends I can do that without youDo you have the best ice cream in the areaEmpower someone to post the hours correctly on the Internet

Katies ice cream rocks. Stopped by on a warm February afternoon and I have to say that This is some of the best ice cream in BE Ohio. The setup is simple, a small free standing building that used to be the DQ many years ago before it moved across the street. A bit funky, but just fine for a place to get ice cream.The menu board has a long list of flavors, since it is February, a number of them are not available. I did get to try the Caramel Cashew and the Belgium Dark Chocolate; both were excellent. The ice cream is rich and thick with almost no added air so the ice cream started hard, but softened nicely as it warmed. The Carmel Cashew starts with a nice smooth vanilla base and then adds lots of caramel and a fistful of cashews; not too sweet, with the nuts giving some crunch, this is really good. The Belgium dark chocolate is about as chocolaty as can be made, just the right amount of sweet and a nice contrasting touch of bitterness. Dark, smooth and rich this may be the best dark chocolate ice cream I have had.This may be the best home made ice cream in the area, really well balanced and well made. I can only imagine how good this will be on a really hot day during the summer.

Katie's Korner is a small, outdoor mom & pop style ice cream shop. They make all of their own ice cream flavors and offer lots of great seasonal options. Their outdoor seating area is nice and relaxing. I love sitting there watching the sunset with my ice cream in the summer =) This is definitely my favorite ice cream place in Kent!

I love the ice cream here but this seasons ice cream that I have order Black Raspberry Truffle I have not gotten a single truffle in my ice cream yet. But I don't really want to switch my usual so I hope that can be fixed.
