What a difference in the product here vs. grocery store products.It is more expensive.The price difference is well worth the quality difference. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for.Just like the butcher shop my folks would go to when I was a kid! (I'm 74)You could spend hours in this shop looking at all the different products they offer! Definitely have items that we would get " back in the day"!The employees are polite, welcoming and knowledgeable!Don't plan on rushing , unless you order early. They will have your order ready upon request if you call a day beforehand.I'm heading to the kitchen for another fresh corned beef on toasted rye bread sandwich!Thanks for reading!

This is one of those cool little neighborhood joints that everybody in the neighborhood goes to. They even make their own soda. How cool is that?I guess they're known for their meats. This is a Polish neighborhood or at least it used to be and so they have a great selection of eastern European meats and sausages. Everything looks good. They have a lot of stuff Cryovac in the freezer which is super helpful. They also had Cryovac pierogies which were pretty good but not great because in my opinion the door was a little thick so they ended up being kind of dry. That's just a preference though those pierogies were mostly noodles with just a little bit of potato inside I prefer the dough a bit thinner so you get more flavor from the ingredients. They also have a decent selection of micro beers from the neighborhood. I also found sauerkraut balls! I grew up on those things when I was a kid. I love those things so much so I got six of them in Cryovac and took them home to my freezer.Clearly most of the people coming in their shop there all the time. They were militant about the Covid distancing and only let a certain number of people in at any given time. There was a deli counter and everybody was smiling while they were working. I saw some pretty good pickles too. Basically if you are looking for an Eastern European grocery store that carries basically everything you need this is the way to go. I love to give my money to the small mom and pop shops and they are going to get my business every time. In fact I got $300 of my business this time and if I didn't run out of cooler space it probably would have been more!

the meat selection is great and the people behind the counter are also great.HOWEVER THE LADY THAT CHECKS YOU OUT ( short dark hair) ruins the whole experience, she argues and fights with everyone..She is just rude.a long time customer

K&K Portage Market has the most amazing meat selection and the people behind the counter are always super friendly. Whenever I am in the mood for a delicious steak or a great cut of meat I come here.

K&K Market is a throwback to the good old neighborhood market. Meats and deli options are of top quality and the people working there are friendly and efficient. They always have what I am looking for, as well as what I didn't know I needed to eat. I no longer live in the neighborhood, but when I am, it's always worth a stop by. Thank you.

Catering is excellent! The chicken was as good as the last time we ordered years ago for my daughter's graduation party. The wings also great. The party sub, the wreath with potato salad in the middle was huge, and incredibly tasty. Cut nicely in small pieces which was perfection. I can't wait to have another event and use them again!

Great mom and pop butcher, they have wonderful cuts of meat, the staff is always willing to give you ideas on how to prepare meals along with they have their own steak sauce that is awesome I highly recommend this place !

Best meat in the CLE! Friendly and quick service. Smoked pork chops are great. Will clip and split wings too! Fresh fresh fresh
