Yummy better than those other chain brands. Go to spot when we are in town. Got in and out fast services like always never a wait.

This is an locally owned diner and donut shoppe. The service is attentive, The food is good, made to order so not fast food but hearty, good value, reasonably priced. Excellent donuts, long johns, bagels, muffins. There is a donut of day for example Saturday is a blueberry cake donut with glaze so not too sweet. They do sell out especially on weekends and you can pre-order. We also enjoy their breakfast, especially home fries, pancakes, waffles and rye toast. They offer corned beef hash too. The decor is definitely diner with booths and stainless steel, we love the decor so 50's mid modern...fond memories of times with our parents, this place stands the test of time ...been around over 50 years....that says something when we lost so many mom and pop places related to covid. ENJOY.

Glad we stopped by to get some donuts cuz them donuts were delicious! Not overly sugary and super soft.

Grabbed a dozen donuts for breakfast before hitting Cedar Point and they were delicious. The breakfast looked good also but we didn't have time to sit and stay.

This is a great place for donuts, it also has diner food with limited seating inside. The fresh donuts are delicious and are made each morning, so if you have a favorite, be sure to get there early on the weekends (especially Sunday mornings) or they will be picked over. If you get a dozen doughnuts, they do have a punch card.

Jolly Donut is a little bit of a dive, and I could tell that before I even stepped inside: The "Jolly Donut" sign outside the building looked like it was designed in 1978 and placed onto the siding shortly after, and hadn't been touched since.But that's great! If you're going to get donuts, you should get donuts from someplace that has character, right? Not a soulless multinational conglomerate? (Not naming names or anything.) Jolly Donut has character. So, this place sells donuts, but it is also a restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch. We didn't come for the breakfast, just donuts. When I visited, the servers were super busy and short with their words. That's fine -- that kind of added to the charm! But it was kind of stressful because where you order donuts is also where the diners pay for their meals, so everyone was scrunched up at one counter and in everyone else's way. But like any restaurant that has been around for ages, this is how they do it and this is how they like it and this is how they will continue to do it forever.We got some donuts to go (a glazed donut, a custard-filled bar, and a couple others) and couple of cups of black coffee. The coffee was decent, and the donuts were good. You could tell that they were fresh, although I wouldn't say they were the best I've ever had. But I like that they make them in-house! That's always nice.Jolly Donut is about 5-10 minutes driving distance from Cedar Point. It's super close, so there's no reason not to venture outside of the Cedar Point grounds and try some authentic Sandusky baked goods.

This is a very cute local diner. They have the old diner look with a bar top in the center and booths around the windows. The breakfast menu is great with eggs to veggie omelettes to sausage gravy, all very fresh. The donuts are delicious!! They are very fresh, with many flavors. Customer service is great
