My wife and I stopped in for a drink and a small bite today. Our server was great and our drinks even better! I got an Old fashioned and my wife a Joe fashioned?Tasted great... I ordered some Clam chowder and my wife got the calamari. These hit the spot for a late lunch. We were in a kind of melancholy way as we just signed our wills and power of attorney documents and felt sort of glad to get that out of the way.The sweet girl behind the bar, Ari, overheard us and told us we should celebrate the fact of the accomplishment with some Champagne and brought us two classes of bubbly. Her smile and kindness made us smile and we were happy we stoped in!We got our bill and the Champagne was on the house! She said it was the least Jo Jo's could do.She told us to enjoy life and smile every day !We will be be forever grateful for her kindness and will be back soon!Ted and Debby Batchelor

About a week ago, I had dinner on Jo Jo's patio, and it was not a good experience. We ordered tenderloin skewers (shish kebab), but what we received was far from tenderloin. Instead, we were served a few tough, chewy pieces of something resembling beef--perhaps rough sirloin, but certainly not prime. If you're tempted to order it, make sure it's actually tenderloin. It seems their short-order cooks might not know the difference between cuts of meat. They also deep-fry their French fries in seed oil--canola, I believe--which is an unhealthy, highly processed oil. For the price you pay, you would expect them to use a healthier option. No bread is offered. As for the ambiance, what was once an open patio with a view of the blue summer skies is now covered with a mishmash of tents, blocking any connection to the outdoors. The setting is harsh and gaudy. It's sad to see what the once-wonderful and well-known "Gamekeeper's" has become.

Had Sunday brunch at Jo Jo's at 12:30, and had a nice experience. We had a reservation, but we probably didn't need one. Several couples walked in. Our server, Chara, was wonderful. She gave us menus, and time to look at them and visit with friends. The menu had several eggs dishes, shrimp, sandwiches and other items. We all chose the soup and half sandwich. We all enjoyed them. The Wedding soup and clam chowder were hardy in large bowls. The half sandwiches were on thick grain toast and tasted great. Charla was spot on taking care of us. For dessert we all chose coffee with Amaretto. A perfect ending.

My family plus grandparents came to JoJo's bar the day after Christmas. The service was excellent as was the ambiance. We had a beautiful booth upstairs. We enjoyed the bread service and cocktails. Some in our party would have preferred some Italian bread rather than raisin bread. We had a couple of salmon dishes, Caesar salad, seasonal vegetables, two spaghetti and meatball and one spicy rigatoni with a meatball. Everyone loved their food!

We came here for dinner. The service was a bit slow because they were a lot of people. We got our appetizers in a timely manner but it took forever to get our entrees. For appetizers, we chose beef carpaccio, and fried calamari. The fried calamari was good but nothing mind blowing. The beef carpaccio was awesome. I got clam chowder soup and it was a disappointment. It was too sweet for a clam chowder. I wanted to have something a bit more savory. Good thing it was not too creamy but could add more clam flavor to it. The bread baskets were good especially the raisin bread. The rest was a bit chewy for me. For entrees, I got the Alaska halibut, and my boyfriend got the New York strip with au poivre sauce. The Alaska halibut was flaky and tender but the seasoning was just salt and pepper. I don't know if the creamy sauce did anything to the Alaska halibut dish. My partner's dish was a bit better. The steak was cooked medium rare plus. He really enjoyed his dish. However, his dad who ordered ribeye got medium well steak instead of medium rare like he ordered. They fixed it but it did take awhile. My partner's mom got crab cake and she seemed to like it. The whole family got au gratin potatoes, and Brussels sprouts to share. The au gratin potatoes were excellent. The Brussels sprouts were steamed. It was okay but not much flavor to it. We also got drinks there and they were pretty good. Overall, the place was nice. The ambiance was nice but the place was a bit too dark. They did good steak but other dishes may not be their wheelhouse. I need to come here again to try more things.

Great ambiance and food. We love coming here. The parking can be challenging if you don't valet but it's worth it to us to come. Saffron shrimp pasta is always a good choice and tried the bananas foster for dessert which was a great finish to the meal.

Christmas Eve at JoJo's. Had a reservation and glad I did. Placed was packed yet we were seated almost immediately.Even though we are residents of the Chagrin Valley, this was our first time here since it transitioned from Bird and Bull. Remodel is beautiful while still retaining the charm. Service....after a slightly slow start, was very good. The restaurant seemed fully staffed and no one seemed to be having any service issues.Food was excellent. I had the Filet Oscar....came out perfect, wife had the bolognese which she enjoyed very much. Had a couple of Manhattan's with dinner, wife had a martini. Both were excellent. Also had the calamari appetizer which I was told was excellent (I don't eat it).Pricing was fair for the type of restaurant it is. Parking can be a bit of a challenge if you don't know the area. All in all a great dining experience. We will definitely be back.

The breakfast here was great! Food and service was a next level experience for the area and the bougie interior design set a lovely classy vibe.

We were looking for a outdoor (spontaneous) dining experience in Chagrin Falls--walked in to JoJo's BACKYARD --no reservations--we're able to get a table right away. The ambiance outside is amazing--remember from my 20's-30's Gamekeepers patio this blows that away. The food- Filet skewers --Burattawere tasty and the cocktails were just right. Our waiter was NICK--he was the best! He had great suggestions and spoiled us with his service. Just to make sure that we were happy--Ryan the manager-kept an eye on us--which was sweet.

Food was very good. The ambience was very nice. Great customer service my our waitress. For it to be Valentine's Day weekend, service moved pretty fast. Food was well seasoned and the salmon was cooked to protection.
