Joe Tony’s Bourbon Steak

This place was a little gem. The food - I ordered a Bourbon Burger and Lemon Curd Cake - was delicious. The service was excellent, and the prices were quite reasonable. I must go back for the steaks! I highly recommend this place.

Made a reservation for 7 online got there early and was seated promptly. Hostess was friendly gave us menus and drink menus. Chloe our waitress was both nice and informed and very quick on service. As a matter of fact I was amazed at how quickly our appetizers came out. And also soups and salads and then the entrees. Best service I've had anywhere in quite a while!Soups were excellent we tried chili and the broccoli cheddar. Steaks were very good. The Delmonico was very very good (we had seen a few comments on previous reviews that might have said otherwise) and the ribeye and my wife's filet were also very very good. The potatoes au gratin were the second best I'd ever eaten (trust me that means they were amazing). Our friends had some berry w/cake dessert. They loved it and I had a bite and it was very good. My wife and I split a lava cake not only was it very good but the actually gave you some ice cream with it, not the little melon baller dip some places give. Owner came to our table to ask how things were I told him we couldn't be more pleased and that we will be back. He said next time we have to get the cheesecake. I'm game!

Loved the decor; the bar stools looked comfortable. We stopped in for lunch ordered a pork ribeye torpedo sandwich. The pork was tender and cooked to perfection. The bun was fresh , homemade chips were included. Chips were a nice touch dipped in malt vinegar. Husband order jambalaya. The only thing he said negative was they used jarred jalapeños instead of fresh.They didn't have many options for beer, we ordered a stout and a porter. Also had a small house salad with blue cheese dressing, one of the best I have had . Server was new and didn't have much knowledge of the menu, but was pleasant. We will go back to try their other offerings.

I went to Joe Tony's the other night for the first time. There were three of us and we were looking forward to try the "finer dining" option New Phila had to offer. First off, the ambiance was great! Low and dim lighting for a more "fancier approach" but I was shocked to see the price amounts on the menu and thought "they MUST be good with prices this high!" And I was looking forward to the food. We ordered crab cakes and jumbo shrimp to split between us as appetizers. The crab cakes were okay but were a little dry. Shrimp was great! For my entree, I ordered the 8oz Ribeye Linguine, medium well and I was highly disappointed. I am a foodie at heart as well as a food photographer and when I rate a restaurant, it is mostly on the taste and presentation of food. First bite I took was nothing but hard gristle that I couldn't even chew and had to spit out. There was no taste at all, it was so bland. No seasoning on the steak or in the white pasta sauce. I'm not one to really review negatively but this was a $24 menu item alone and comparatively it tasted like something you would expect from Applebees. I was highly disappointed. We were there for my birthday and because of that, the waitress told us at the beginning that we would get a free dessert. At the end of our meal, we ordered the Brown Butter Cake and Fresh Berries to take home. We told our waitress and then a few minutes later, who I am assuming was the kitchen manager, came over and asked how everything was and we stated we were waiting for our dessert. He said it would be right out. We sat and waited an additional 30 minutes for them to bring the cake out while we noticed it sitting on the serving counter for at least 20 minutes. Granted, they were a little busy that night, but I was shocked at how long we had to wait. All three of us agreed that we more than likely won't be back due to our experience. Environment was great, but food was lacking in taste and flavor for the price that it was.

The food is really good. Big portions and lots of flavor too. The staff is wonderful and the bourbon selection is large. The cheese cake is AWESOME

The service was nice, menu not a lot to choose from. My husband enjoyed his burger, and since I was on a strict diet I was really limited but I'd give it another try sometime.

The burgers are amazing! Steaks are very pricey for the location, but the burgers are very reasonable. Service was great! Atmosphere could be better, but honestly, with burgers this good, we're definitely coming back soon!

Had the delmonico steak. It was ok, but way over priced. I usually get it at a place in my hometown for about $15 cheaper.Also ordered the crab cakes. One was still cold in the middle. The other had bits of shell in it.The meal wasn't terrible, but with tip my bill was $125. They just can't justify these prices.

Super fast - super friendly service for starters. Really good soups, great appetizers and steaks were delicious. Potatoes au gratin are a must as is the brown butter cake!! Reasonable drink prices that kept our total bill fair for all that we had - will be back!!

Excellent food and service, amazing burger and steaks. We were going to go to Roadhouse but they had almost a 2hr waitlist. We are glad we went here instead!
