The service is awful. The food was okay I won my be back since it's a family owned restaurant I know these people won't change

Great breakfast!!This place was recommended by a local friend of mine, and I'm glad I got there early!!Good sized portions of fresh ingredients!!Biscuits and home made gravy was the best!!

So, we decided to finally try this place since most of the breakfast places in Streetsboro have closed. We were very pleasantly surprised, and wish we had tried it much sooner. There are several places around Portage county that we like to frequent for breakfast, and sometimes dinner, but Jim's Open Kitchen Too has now become our favorite breakfast place. Excellent food, very nice atmosphere, and very reasonable prices. When you try this place, and find out how much you like it, don't forget to ring the cow bell on the way out the door!

My parents and I went for the first time about a month ago. We kept putting it off because it looked small from the outside. The minute we walked in we were greeted by friendly staff and although when it's busy you are seated by the staff, since we got there when they first opened they told us to sit wherever we wanted. It's a long building and they have booths, tables, and a long counter you can sit at. It is a tight space if it gets too crowded, but I like it.The first time I tried there griddle combo with a waffle with the banana split topping. It was great! It was the perfect size meal, not too much and not too little. The waffle was the perfect texture and the nuts in the topping added a good crunch. Just so you know usually home fries or potatoes on the side are extra. If it doesn't say it comes with potatoes or anything else just assume it's going to be an extra charge. The toppings for the waffle and pancakes are extra also, but I think it's worth it.All the times we have went the servers are always friendly, the food is piping hot and tastes great, and we always leave happy and full!

Great tasting fresh food! Fast service, friendly staff! Have always wanted to go here lived in ohio for most of my life, but moved out of state was in town and said we needed to try this place because i have always heard great things! The rumors are true, everything is so good!

Nice! Crowded when we walked in which was a good sign. Had a mom and pop diner feel. It was around 11... so I ordered lunch (burger and fries) and she ordered a cheese, mushroom and tomato omelette.Both were as expected. Diner food which was reasonably priced and worth the experience.I'd recommend this over a chain... give it a try. What do you have to lose?

Omelettes seem smaller. Toast was raw despite dark order. Not at all busy on a Wednesday morning. Hash browns piping hot as ordered. I've lost that loving feeling. Might be last call for me here.

Still a fan favorite! Best biscuits and gravy I have had in Ohio hands down. Eggs Benedict also perfect. If you like diners this is a great one.

Great service, nice menu selection and good food. What more can you ask for? Thinking the Herb Nelson is a play on Willie's favorite past time and what it might make you crave.

Stopped by own a road trip. It was excellent. Highly recommend. The food was great and the coffee was shockingly good.
