I was on my way to my Aunties house and thought let me stop and get us a bite to eat because, I was hungry and it was around lunch time.I'm relatively new back to #DaLand and ready, willing and able to try all foods. That's just the way my belly is set up. Take it up with Jesus OKURRR. Anyway, I'm driving and bloop I see a Jamaican spot and pull in. When you are hungry, sometimes you make rash decisions and when you don't know any better...well...I can't say that because I MAKE certain Hamaican dishes and well...I have no excuse but, you have to TRY as looks are deceiving. I walk in and it's a decent enough front of the house. A few tables, I guess in which still practicing social distancing for customers. I d I not recall to many other safety measures, but it could have been there as I was too busy listening to Chronixx and got stuck. When I snapped out, my food was wrapped and I just wanted to get to the house. OH! I did ask her was the Chicken cooked on the grill and she affirmed with a nod. Which I should have known was a lie because I didn't smell any grill or lingering of a grill!! Anywho, I get back excited and my bubble was quickly deflated. Burnt, dry, no flavor. I ordered Jerk Chicken. How do you mess that one up. I would forgive Oxtail or Goat dammit, but JERK CHICKEN? THE STAPLE DISH OF MY BELOVED JAMAICA!!!!CHO!!!!The ONLY plus is that it came with two leg quarters, but it was pointless because they were not good. The cabbage! Oh goodness. Now that had the salt the chicken was missing.Not sure if it's the same cook daily. But non grilled chicken for JERK chicken nah right. And I didn't receive ONE plantain. EVERY Jamaican restaurant from here TO Jamaica provides plantains Mon, what happen to you?!! (Kisses teet)I shall NOT return

One of the best Jamaican spots around. I'm happy I found this place on Yelp. I went on a Saturday and they even had a DJ, felt like I was at dance hall. Call ahead if you are getting seafood. I know the chicken curry is ready to go.

I haven't been inside the restaurant but ordered from Door Dash, so please take this into consideration.I ordered the Jerk Chicken from this restaurant thinking it would be a delicious meal during the lunch hour. I ordered not too early and not too late which is usually when the lunch food quality is at its peak. When the Door Dash arrived it had an odd and unusual smell. It smelled like feces, and I'm not even kidding. I smelled the food constantly before taking a small bite later to be meet with an odd sweet/spicy texture. However, the texture of the food was odd and and I threw out the rest of the meal due to the putrid smell.I wouldn't personally recommend their jerk, as I had Jerk from multiple different restaurants and it never tasted or smelled as odd, I wouldn't be surprised if it was feces!

I can honestly say I wasnt expect much from this place, but I was really surprised and it was the good type of surprise. Ordered the Oxtails and they were seasons just right and extremely tender!! (fall off the bone)The Curry Chicken was tasty and reminded me of our trip to Jamaica.Portion sizes are excellent and the service was quick, plus they were very friendly!!Try to 7-Up Cake if you have a sweet tooth!!

First time checking out this gem! The food was incredible The server was the sweetest! He was extremely patient answering my questions about the different options and made some great recommendations both for me and my fiancé who is vegetarian! Tried the jerk chicken, rice & beans, cabbage, collaloo (greens), plantains, and curry chicken! Everything was AMAZING! Curry chicken and the Collaloo were especially amazing! And the portion sizes were gigantic! Oh and they had Ting (pink grapefruit soda), one of my all time favorite drinks (really hard to find otherwise)! Will definitely be at Jamerican again, many many more times!

Apologies in advance the food was so delicious the first time I had it three weeks ago that I ate it without taking a picture for this review. I waited to write it so I could get that perfect snap and I did it again ! This food is so delicious that it just can't wait for a photo. Jamerican kitchen is a small dine in/carry out restaurant featuring authentic Jamaican recipes . Delicious and prepared with love and passion Sidonna has tailored her recipes to suit the American palate while keeping true to her roots. I had the Jamaican Irie rice which is flavorfully seasoned with Jamaican curry and vegetables I couldn't get enough. The Yard Style Jerk chicken is tender and juicy. Dry rubbed with jerk seasoning can be served with Jerk sauce on the chicken or on the side . I like to ease into spicy food so I had my sauce on the side . The Jerk chicken comes with the rice and peas which is delicious. I also recommend the chicken patty and the veggie patty. Kind of like an empanada. The patty is filled with seasoned and cooked veggies in a sauce. It reminded me of a chicken pot pie but make it Jamaican. If you want authentic and delicious support this small business!

I love Jamaican cuisine and i tried a lot of different places, this place is amazing nothing but fresh and delicious food!!! The oxtail they serve there is one of the best i ever tried.

My husband and I went last night and arrived a minute after closing. They we are nice enough to allow us to purchase dinners from the food that they had left remaining. Needless to say it was amazing and we decided to come back again today. We've now been able to consume four different items and are impressed with not only the AMAZING taste but the quality and amount of food that we receive as well. We will be regulars!

Jamerican Kitchen & Cafe is back and better! I was sad when they closed during COVID-19... but I am so glad they are back! The food is amazing-- I got the Jerk Chicken lunch combo with rice & beans and cabbage. I added an extra side of baked Mac & cheese. Excellent! As always, I appreciate the great customer service from the owner (she was working to prepare and package my food). Finally, this new location in Beachwood is soo nice with updated furnishings, etc.
