This hidden treasure with the friendliest service anywhere in NE Ohio has a Pacific delight, the Barramundi filet in two styles, our favorite is Cajun but they also have a less flavorful version for blandies. This tastes too us like the fish called CORVINA that we enjoyed while living in California and Ecuador. Delicious!!!

The fish and Mac and cheese special was good, coffee was tasty. My bf, however was less than satisfied. The gyro was kinda limp and floppy instead of crisp and firm, and.... It had CHEESE on it? Server was real nice and friendly

Wow another amazing find! Doing laundry up the road and find this place. We had some Hungarian dish with chicken and dumplings and it was delicious.The place is clean..the waitress was all alone handing the bar and tables and did great job.Highly recommend.

What a treat! Everything was fantastic at Jake's! The service was beyond incredible! For such a small diner, the Overall experience was wonderful! The stuffed French, toast and pancakes were delicious! I really enjoyed the four egg omelette!

Jake's is the Cheers of Mantua. Everybody knows your name. The service is great and the food is really good. Great home style diner! I love their Clam Chowder!

Tried Jakes for the first time for the Fish fry they have on Friday during lent.All I can say is the chef must be scared to season his food because the French fries were wilted, soft and not a spec of seasoning or even salt.The Tartar sauce was , so so.The Fish was NOT seasoned and no crunch at all, it was simply BLAND, breaded, kind of like If you were feeding your 95 year old mother with no teeth and no taste.The cole slaw was outstanding, very good on that one item.Chef needs to season his food, nothing special here... price was fair for food. The service seemed very good, but JUST NO Taste!The only reason Im giving g them some credit is because the coleslaw and service.. fire the chef!
