Jade Owl Cafe

This place is off to a great start -- I just hope they take their decor a little bit further! I love how you can pick your own cup for hot coffee (hope they were all clean from others selecting and then putting back, or dust -- ha ha) - super cute concept and a nice variety of cups to fit everyone's preference! Would be great if they had a selection of glasses as well to select from for iced coffee too.The coffee I had was good (not overly exciting, but average), however the others I was with really liked theirs.I also tried the Birthday Cake Waffsicle, which was great, however when I asked what it was, they told me a "stuffed waffle on a stick". If was a waffle on a stick, but nothing was "stuffed" about it! Service was super slow - and the receipt of our coffee and our food items was about 15-20 minutes apart - so most of my coffee was gone before I received my waffsicle. So I think this is the biggest area for improvement. I would love to go back in the spring/summer when the garage door is open -- I think it would be great, and hopefully they will have the kinks worked out before then.Note: parking is a little strange - there is 1 space marked in the front, but then a sign that says "Park anywhere". But there is street parking as well, and I think there is parking behind the building

Well isn't this place cute! There about two parking spots in front, as well as some street parking. There are two sides of the cafe: coffee & bar. You enter in and pick which mug you'd like your drink to be served in. I thought this was a super fun concept! (I tried not to think of other germy hands touching my cup though haha). I got a cappuccino which was tasty. And I got a s'mores waffsicle, which was so delicious! We sat on the bar side because there were plenty of clean tables over there. (One table was very cold and drafty so watch out hahah)Service was slow; I think maybe only two people were working. There was a giant garage door which will be so nice to have open in nicer weather!! We were also wondering if the mugs will be switched out for glasses when it's iced coffee season! We didn't have kids with us, but noticed some kids toys, a high chair, and changing table in the bathroom available making this place a kid friendly option! Overall, I would definitely come back !

Stopped in for a quick coffee and check out this new spot. It's a cute and cozy place with a huge variety on their menu. From coffee early in the morning, to a martini in the evening, I will be back! I am looking forward to the garage door open in the summer and a cocktail. I did not try the food yet but I'll be back. The service was kind and sweet! She even made my dog a pup cup.

We had a lovely lunch at the Jade Owl Café! My husband had a wrap and I had a Panini. Both were delicious. It was fun being able to pick out my coffee cup. We look forward to our next visit!

Tried this new coffee cafe spot in Fairview. It's close/next to Raan Thai on Lorain. It is a very nice space. Has a lounge area for the coffee lovers. A dining area for breakfast lunch. And a full bar! I I just got coffee this time! Espresso was great! Americano was good. And the Hot chai was fine! It will be a nice addition to the neighborhood ! Friendly service ! I'll be back to try the food next time! Cheers and looking forward to double espressos!

The place is so adorable! There are 2 rooms so plenty of space to meet friends. You get to pick your own cup for your coffee, love that! They have food and it looks like alcohol drinks as well. Food was reasonably priced and delicious. We had omelette and mozzarella sandwich. Coffee was excellent and they are so friendly, can't wait to go back!

Wow, what a great, cozy, breakfast/brunch cafe with artistic personality and flair! My daughter and I just happened to randomly spot this gem of a place across from East Coast Custard (where we go fairly often). The coffees, breakfast sandwiches, omelettes, bagels, pastries (carrot cake and pumpkin roll) were all delectable and priced fairly, and the employees very kind and welcoming. There are 2 main rooms, replete with a variety of couches, chaises, high tops, and regular tables with highback leather chairs that make this space unique and inviting. They also have a smallish bar, where they serve drinks later on when they open up for dinner too! Fairview truly needed a place like this!

What a cute little place. Wonderful relaxing comfy atmosphere... you get to pick out your own mug. My vanilla latte was excellent as was my breakfast sandwich. Prices very reasonable and very nice people in front of and behind the counter. Will be back for coffee and breakfast and also for a cocktail and dinner food!

The perfect addition for Fairview! Had one of the best lattes I've ever had and the service was so friendly. So happy to have a coffee shop in Fairview that will make lattes and allows cream and sugar if you want a cup of coffee!! Very nice and spacious inside! Check this place out!
