Located right next to the famed market, it is a quiet place where you can get good coffee, read books, buy books and catch up with friends.Light hits the entrance area with seating so beautifully and the smell of baked goods and coffee is very appealing. Highly recommend!

What a great place. The coffee shop surprisingly was amazing. The owner was there and he makes a fantastic espresso macchiato. He knows his coffees well and has great options. The presentation was perfect. The flavor was perfect. The customer service was perfect. Then the great thing about this coffee shop is it's also a bookstore too. People can donate gently used books. Some of the books are gently used and some of the books are brand new. If you donate, you can get a little stipend for them or store credit for them or you can just be generous and donate them. It's quite fun to get a coffee and then look around the bookstore. They have a decent sitting area and bar. I'm so happy I found this place. I'm very much a coffee snob and coffee connoisseur. I was very pleased with the coffee here.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! It combines two of my favorite things: coffee & books! I usually get the holiday drinks (egg nog latte, pumpkin praline latte, toasted marshmallow latte) and they've all been excellent !! The books are so insanely cheap too! 100% recommend this place !

Too noisy while we were trying to enjoy some reading and coffee. Coffee was okay and book selection was limited.

What an awesome concept. This discount bookstore has opened a coffee shop which is outstanding! It was a very cozy feel being surrounded by books. Most importantly, the coffee was great! I had the Orange Black Sesame Late and it was amazing. Such a unique experience that I would highly recommend.

Alright book store, great prices, and wide selection, but mostly obscure or classic books, not popular books. So if you're on a treasure hunt for a certain book, this might be a good place to check out!They offer beverages as well, but I didn't partake in any. The store overall looks good at first glance, but overall it is not very well organized and kinda confusing or misleading if you see the signs for the discounts that apply to all books, but only in one row. I posted a picture of the discounts if anyone is interested! Also, the associate working the day I went in seemed very uninterested in his job, so it wasn't very welcoming. Maybe he was just having a bad day? Overall, I'm glad I went, but probably won't be back again unless I'm looking for a rare book.

Tried the black sesame orange latte. It was okay. They serve rising star here and have good deals on books

Index is inside of the Horizontal Book store right on the most iconic street in Cleveland- West 25th Street. The book store is exactly the same vibes before, but now there is a coffee counter and some great table space inside as well. Their flavor options are incredibly unique, but also remarkably delicious... I mean orange black sesame?!! Since opening, I have tried both the Orange Black Sesame latte and the Rose Cardamom latte... and I say with full confidence that you will not go wrong with either of these choices! As fall approaches in Cleveland, I don't think there is a greater spot to channel the Rory Gilmore vibes you've always dreamed of. I am literally already romanticizing the idea of spending a cold day in here with a hot latte in one hand and a book in the other... lets be clear, I don't read but Index makes me want to ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Amazing coffee and vibes, my friend and I went there and the smell of books and coffee just makes me so happy. Please go there lol
