Imbibe Martini Bar

I've always loved this place. Jessica is my favorite, she always makes the best specialty cocktails and let's me customize if I want. I've been a frequent customer because of her service and look forward to seeing her again

Great place to start your bar crawl. Usually no one in here. Staff some times has an attitude that you have to take care of but once that's done you have to hit up the couch room. Always a good time. Who knows what goes on in there after midnight.

I've been to Imbibe twice and both experiences were wonderful. The bartenders have been delightful to chat with and ask for recommendations, and the drinks are delicious. It has a very chill, classy atmosphere with relaxing music. Great place to enjoy a night out!

Imbibing can be difficult at Imbibe. No doubt, Imbibe is a classy place in the downtown area. However, service is a little shaky (and not because of the mixing). The crowd is highly variable. Most of the times that I've visited they've had a decent crowd. On other occasions, the place is practically empty with just a few patrons at the bar. Regardless of the size, service is habitually slow. It takes a while to order. Once you've ordered, it may take a while to actually get your drink in hand. Once you have a drink, they are quite delicious. They have an extensive selection of martinis and beer. There is something for everyone! It just might not get to you as soon as you'd like.

Ended up in Youngstown with some friends with about 3-4 hours to kill. We walked to Federal St. and because this bar DIDN'T have a line out the door filled with aggro, loud, college types, we went in to Imbibe. We were a motley crew indeed, and we represented tastes that were truly, across the board. Fortunately for us, this sweet, bubbly bartender came over and gave us reason to stay. Her name was Jordi and was both helpful and efficient. She gave us drinks that went from martinis to beers to shots (as one would expect to incur during the course of an evening) and was ever so pleasant. The room was spacious and though not crowded, the place was moderately people with civilized and pleasant people (a combination I rather enjoy). The music was of the chill type: rather baddy but not too thumpy music that you could have a conversation over. The drink prices were about what you'd expect from a martini bar and the variety was as well. On my way to the restroom, I noticed a vault, and of course I had to investigate. Turns out it's actually a vault turned into a private party room, complete with awesome leather couches and an interesting wine collection that was displayed along the walls to great effect. Served our evening perfectly!!I'd definitely say yes to this place if you want a more mature and manageable kind of evening.

This bar has a lot of potential but has yet to capitalize on it. They have an extensive martini list (~121 different drinks) so I was very excited. However, I was very disappointed. I ordered the banana split martini. It tasted like strawberry milk. It was very weak. We also ordered the cherry cheesecake drink which was described as pretty good. The lemon drop martini had a flat review. They would benefit from having good music, stronger drinks, and covering exposed wires on the wall as you walk to the bathroom.

Not real impressed. I came in here with high hopes but the atmosphere is not real friendly sitting at the bar you can't see the bartender faces fire to the overbearing backlighting. That and oh yeah the drinks just aren't that good.

This bar is amazing. The staff is exceptionally well trained at making martinis that don't taste like alcohol, even though each martini is usually made of alcohol and nothing else (I watched them mix). They have a lot of imported beers too, if you're into that. If downtown is busy, then so is Imbibe, but their crowd is usually the type that appreciates a good drink and understands how cheap a $7 martini is.

By far the best service ever! Between 8 people we tried two dozen different Martinis and loved each one of them. Kuddos to the owner, managers and staff for the quality products & Service.

Favorite bar downtown. Great atmosphere, music and crowd. Bartenders are great and always treat me well. Best drink selection too. So many different martinis and have never had a bad one. Not to mention the beer selection is substantial. Never had a bad time, always great for kicking back with a few friends or even as a stop in the bar crawl of the night.
