Ido is a local neighboorhood restaurant and bar established in 1998. The exterior is very plain but the inside is nicely decorated and the staff is very friendly and provides great service. Prices are good and food is good. It isn't high end cuisine but is a great place and has lots of repeat customers. Give Ido a try if you are in the neighborhood.

I ordered this dish and it was good. For $18.99 it was not as much food as O expected, however, the shrimp was perfectly cooked and the service was good. The ambiance is fair but nothing special.

As a former employee, I worked here for about 4 days before walking out. The kitchen is pretty yucky. Cooks do not wear gloves or regularly wash hands, even though gloves are provided, and the cooks have been there for 10ish years. They haze and harass the younger dishwashers and say foul things to them, they're extremely rude to the female serving staff. When the owner leaves the cooks start drinking alcohol on the line while handling customers food. The place is poorly operated. I started working Saturday, the owner neglected to have me fill out employment paperwork until after I quit. There's no one to handle scheduling or anything past the owner who just comes and goes, and handles business whenever he decides he wants to get around to it. I worked here for 4 days. The man pays me for ten hours. I sent him my logged hours in a text because I was never given any type of time card or anything, he never read my text and told me that he asked around and came up with a number. I explained to him that I sent him the hours in a text as I was there filling out paperwork, he told me he'll look into it and maybe next week....... So if you enjoy washed up cooks that cross contaminate your food by not using simple food safety techniques due to them flat out not caring and being lazy, and an owner who wings it in the kitchen and makes up for it from bar sales.....then this is your place

Ido Bar and Grill is exactly what you would expect it to be. It is old and the decor reflects that. We were there on a weeknight and it was about half full..I chose steak and it was quite good and very fair for the price .Not sure if they were short of staff, but the waitress was rushed and kept apologizing for the delay, which was about 45 minutes . Luckily the drinks kept coming. I'm not sure if this is a fair rating having only been there once but I will go again. As I hear their specials are highly rated.

Four of us came in to IDO for dinner. Note that the dining room entrance is not on the street side. Our server was courteous and helpful despite forgetting a drink (which he did provide later for free). Two of us tried the burgers they were supposedly famous for - they weee not bad but also not good. The special blend really didn't have much taste and was well down without any juice. Bun and toppings were fresh. French fries were not crispy and some were just soggy. Fish and chips was good.

Delicious burger with super onion rings, though not house made. Wife's French Dip sandwich was excellent, very good bread and quality ingredients. Ice cold Modelo on tap was a real plus! Server was very attentive and accommodating, with being bothersome. My wife, in particular, enjoyed the atmosphere which had a strong neighborhood bar vibe, without being divey, and very clean, a real positive attribute for my wife.

Michelle is a rockstar bartender. She was hustling - drinks always filled, taking orders, serving, whatever. Even though it was only a Wednesday at 5-6pm she had her hands full.Chicken wings were good/normal. All the other food looked legit and based on other reviews it's probably solid. Wished they had prime rib during the week or else I would've tried that.
