Ice House Bakery & Deli

Stopped by to grab a couple pastries for some work colleagues and stumbled onto a gold mine. I may never drive through Conneaut without picking up something. Smells maybe free but good luck trying to leave without a purchase or 2.

We had a large group. We had a youth group from our church. The employees were very patient and kind. The menu was huge and the food was very good. I only gave four stars because we got our order to go and we're staying about a half hour away. When we got to the campground one of our items was missing.

Friendly atmosphere, first time visit. Live 45 minutes away, we ended up getting few different items to try. Buckeye pie, grasshopper pie, toasted coconut pie, cannolis w/chocolate chip, and buckeye candies were all delicious, all tasted freshly made. Would have received five starts but there was no prices posted ( not useless I missed the sign), had to ask each time how much something cost.

Food and people are amazing. My favorite place in all of Conneaut Lake. Everyone is so nice and food is always great. Have outside dining as well. Pepperoni rolls are a must try in life...!

Pizza and bakery place! They sell many homemade donuts, cookies, pies, cakes etc all for very reasonable prices. They also sell canned food like pickles, jams, jellies, and pasta too. And a lot of candy and pop for sale as well. Check out their Facebook page they post often with pictures of what they have in the bakery. Great place- we will be back soon!

This place is now called Ice house Pizzeria and grille. We ordered a medium pizza with toppings. You order your pizza at the counter inside. Only seating is picnic tables outside. There were too many bees hovering around to enjoy sitting outside. So we ate in our vehicle. The pizza was clearly a premade crust, and overall pizza did not have much flavor. The inside displays a beautiful array of baked goods in coolers, which we did not try. I probably will not eat pizza here again

Need a last minute gift for someone who loves specialty foods? Any type of sweet (even sugar-free?) treat? Pies, cupcakes, brownies, cookies, donuts...name it-if they don't have it now they probably make it with out of the ordinary selections-even gluten free! Call ahead - create your own mix box-add a weekend dinner special or a take and bake pizza or pepperoni roll- Ice House will serve it with a smile!

Worst service I've ever received. I will NEVER go there again and I urge others to do the same. I asked how long for a pizza order, they said 20 minutes. They put in the order, I shopped bought some bakery goods paid AND tipped then they said 15 more minutes. 40-45 MINUTES LATER AND AFTER I asked for a refund, they bring my pizza out and tell me I can take it or leave it but they are not refunding me. The manager/owner was extremely rude! The kitchen staff came out and was rude. They told me if I didn't like it to call the police. So I did! The shame of this is that had they said in the beginning they were behind on orders and it was going to be 45 minutes then I would have had the "choice" to continue the order or not. They said "20 minutes". I very simply asked to be refunded for an order that they were not fulfilling. Any professional place of business would have refunded me and called it a day. I have every right to be refunded for services not rendered. The police officer agreed.

We've tried the bakery and deli a few times hoping it would get better, but it's just not good. Bakery - everything looks really pretty. But the taste and quality are disappointing. I don't think the cannoli smells are homemade. And the filling is not a traditional ricotta filling - it was some sort of cream/icing combo. The other pastries we tried were a bit dry. Deli- not good. The burgers seem to be frozen patties. And flavorless. The pizza was a mess - too much sauce on one side, no sauce on the other and same with the cheese. Fries were good, but that's about it.

Surprised to the previous review. We had a pizza which was good. We also had subs -- chix parm, Italian melt, and the Mac n Cheese cheesesteak. All were excellent. And their menu is HUGE so definitely something for everyone.
