Good place for Chinese.

03/2024. Have recently patronized Hundred Flowers Restaurant in my perpetual hunt for good Chinese cuisine. They transitioned to all take out post pandemic. Of many Oriental restaurants in my area, I appreciated their preparation of my favorite dish, sweet & sour pork. In addition to the pork, they included red and green peppers, pineapple and onions. The majority of places simply fill a styrofoam container with battered, wok cooked pork, and serve the sauce on the side. Boring! I also appreciated their on line ordering system. Started dining here in the 1970's when my kids were young. At that time, it was known as "Kowloon Restaurant".All this is to report that as of this date, there is a "Available" sign in the front window. Tried to call the listed (YELP!) number. Message states number has been changed, but does not provide it. Hopefully, another enterprising restauranteur will reopen this location.

This used to be the place 2 go for Chinese food. I would travel past 4 or 5 other places just get food here. They seem to have slightly changed their food. It just isn't as good as it used to be. Also they have raised the prices and shrunk the portion size. I guess I will be finding another Chinese place.

Great Food, Great Prices, Great, Fast Service! We LOVE going to this place! Since my boyfriend and I have been dating (almost 4 years), we have always been regulars when we lived in Eastlake. Now that we're in Mentor, we rarely go, but when we do, it's always great!

Wonderful little place for Chinese take out. Always takes just 10 minutes! My boyfriend and I usually split the general tso chicken combo with an extra egg roll and the steamed potstickers! Never a bad meal!

Flavorless bland food. I got the generals chicken and it had zero heat! Egg roll was very basic and it was not crisp at all due to it being served on top of the rice. We won't be back.

I've been eating Chinese food since 1962 and this is tied with one other experience as being the lousiest of all. Save your money.

Have been going to Hundred Flowers Chinese Restaurant for years! Originally referred by my sister who is selective. The food is so fresh, the vegetables are a nice variety and cooked to retain just the right amount of "crunch," retained, rice is perfect, and the WonTon soup is also. The serving sizes are generous and packaged well. Prices are very affordable, your food is piping hot and ready at the time they quote you for pickup. The service is friendly also. I'm so happy this restaurant survived through the Covid pandemic!

Very interesting place. They make Chinese dishes that all the other cookie-cutter Chinese restaurants do not. Try 'em. Lots of flavor. Not bland.
