Hunan of Stow

We have lived in the area for more than 30 years. Our go-to chinese restaurant owners finally retired, and for several years now we have been adrift trying to find a decent replacement. We gave this place a go recently, and were pleasantly surprised. As a whole the meals are good, the friend rice is excellent, but the fried wontons and crab rangoon leave something to be desired. We will definitely be back, and look forward to exploring more of the menu.

This is a great little spot for take out. They have excellent egg rolls and everything was quickly/freshly prepared the service was great. They also have very reasonable prices.

Favorite Chinese place around by far. Drive to Stow from Hudson, rather then eat the subpar food here.It's always hot, plentiful, and VERY reasonably priced.Try it once and you'll be back

Service - I love this place very much, we live pretty close to the restaurant and it's amazing to get takeout here. I finally decided to leave a review because I just got yelp. But my family and I, about a year ago, would eat at this place almost 2 times a week. We would get the same thing each time, and at one point a relative of mine was on a trip out of the house. We called to make an order and the kind woman working asked, "no (order that my family member on the trip usually orders)?" It was so sweet to know that they remember us and our order LOL! The food is always so good and definitely my favorite place for quick amazing take out! Food - Personally what I get: usually consists of Chicken Lo Mein or Beef Lo Mein. Although out of the two I would chose the beef to be my absolute favorite! If you are a picky eater and don't know what to get, there's no way you can go wrong with the beef lo mein! - thanks for reading all of that I know it was painful with many grammar errors -

Hunan of Stow is a great local take out place! They always are fast and friendly with my order. Their fried dumplings are incredible and the sweet & sour soup!

After reading the so so reviews we were pleasantly surprised. We are staying in a nearby hotel and we're craving Chinese. The chicken in the Chicken and broccoli was so tender. The beef and broccoli was great. My kids loved the chicken lo mein. The crab Rangoon were a bit sweet for our taste but you get 10 in an order and the kids loved them. The general Tso's chicken medium spicy had a hint of spice. The egg rolls were not my favorite but that was just taste preference. We got a free 2 liter of soda too. We fed our family of 4 a feast (more than we could eat) for like, $45. What's not to like?

Small place. Price is great and food is even better. We moved to area. Found this place on yelp. It was close to home. The wife and I tried almost everything on the menu, and no complaints from us.

It was my first time ordering from here. I have been looking for a go to Chinese place so I tried it. Got beef and broccoli and Singapore mei fun. They both tasted ok. Loss my appetite after finding hair in both dishes. Ewww
