Family owned and their food is fantastic. It was so fun to see the kids grow up so fast. Its my favorite chinese place in the mahoning valley. I moved away from the area but we still make special trips out for especially the crab ragoons, always fresh. They even were growing their own veggies for a while until some karen complained. I recommend this place to everyone in the area

Place is still a four star. Eaten here three times in the past week. Pork lo mein. Imperial chicken. Wonton soup. Hot and sour soup. And the lunch boneless pork. It was good, but it was sliced like matchsticks. I would have preferred thick pieces. The pork lo mein was good. I love this place because it is not your typical oily Chinese food. Hell, you can get ma-po tofu here! If you want something genuinely Chinese, get the ma-po tofu. Every one of the different owners of this place has sold the ma-po tofu, and it is always great! The wonton soup is homemade, delicious, great broth. Hot and sour soup, ehhh, supposed to have pork and it doesn't. But, overall, this place is the best Chinese until you get to Kent or Akron. The places around here that folks like, you know, those greasy buffets? Seriously?!? I like a cheap buffet as much as anyone. But when you start saying "oh it was so good! They had spaghetti!" You kind of make my point that this area, not exactly full of goodies...

We (the wifey and I) tried three dishes on 1/30/16 - house fried rice, fried pot stickers, Low Mein vegetable beef.Here's our ratings:Pot stickers: the worst we have ever hadFired rice: acceptable but grossly underwhelmingVegetable beef Low Mein: Mediocre at best. A Pancet noodle was used instead of a Low Mein noodle, and the Pancet noodle was over-cooked.Overall rating - very poor. But this place is perfect for the person who finds Taco Bell to be a great representation of Mexican food.

Been here a couple of times and am very impressed. I have had numerous sushi rolls and liked them all. Bento box shrimp hibachi was perfect. Drive from because I like this place. The waiter is very friendly and attentive.

No utensils sent with delivery of food. Egg foo yung gravy was put on top of egg foo yung and it was a terrible mess of spilling out of container and all over in bag. Egg foo yung normally always comes with steamed white rice. This restaurant didn't provide that. It would have been extra cost.

I'm so sorry to HAVE to this, but just had thee worst experience w THE ONLY CHINESE joint I've supported in nearly 13 YEARS! As a veg, the tofu is HORRID, hard, dry. Bummer! Ordered fried bean curd w garlic sauce, asked it to be less peppery on acct I have new health issues, cut too~ NO flavor except 15 packs of soy sauce. Tonight? Decided I spent enough $ over years, see if they'll make it . Brought back 85% portion w we didn't touch to prove that I'm not scamming. Mother monster 1st hollered @ hubby, the kids & came out by register to chew me out, say I needed to "heat" the tofu & other nonsensical stuff. My daughter Thera, now 12, has her pic doing the splits under the H.E. window facing Mahoning... That was 5+ yrs ago. It's attracted HUNDREDS OF likes & attention, & is featured on websites aside from H.E.What a shame, the kicker? The cheap owner, after shaming us and decided that the large that we ordered with two egg rolls wasn't going to be replaced gave us I would call a quarter of a small portion this is not customer service this will not fly and they replaced it tonight with the same disgusting dry hard doggy kibble tofu. So for everyone that thinks their food is great~maybe, like us, you've been lying to yourself. ~one more thing in the midst of the pandemic when the line was around the block to pick up your dinner she lost my credit card mother monster she dropped my credit card couldn't find it! Nearly 15 min later, she accused me of lying! I feel so sick saying this, but stereotypes? She played into the jokes & I had a horrid feeling to never request it be made right, or a refund. Lost us as a customer & seeing the Yelp! reviews that are more honest~ should've Main it a long time ago...

I ordered a General Tso chicken combination w/ wonton soup & wasted my money !!!! The soup had a putrid smell ,was discolored& the chicken in the meal was so old that I got sick . I am pregnant so I was hungry!!! I called up there to complain & they made excuses & hung up ! Horrible customer service and poor food safety practices. I am truly disappointed because I used to eat here often . Do better because you've lost a regular customer!!!!

me and my fiancé order take out from this place almost once a week. and it never disappoints. the steamed dumplings are hand made and full of flavor. always get the chicken and broccoli with garlic sauce and it's always perfect. never had an order wrong. it's a small hard working family run Business with amazing Chinese takeout. can't get any better
