Hudson's Restaurant

I went during Christmas time and it was decorated to the nines! There were so many Santa's and reindeer. The food was good, I especially liked the taste of the meatball sauce. I got the ceasar salad and the chicken was tough but the dressing made up for it. Everything was reasonably priced, the drinks a bit on the high end. Service was great, especially since it was so busy. A great family restaurant to visit from out of town.

We went the Saturday after Christmas, around 430 and were surprised by only a 30 min wait! Our server was very attentive, accommodating and kind. It is truly wild to see all of the Christmas decor they have put up. The list of holiday cocktails was extensive, but some were pretty basic and definitely should've have been the priced the same as some of the more complex drinks. I got the lemon chicken artichoke pasta and I was very pleasantly surprised by it! It was a large serving and very tasty. Would absolutely recommend.

We stopped by to experience the Christmas pop up restaurant, Blitzen's. Absolutely amazing decorations!!! They did such a great job decorating and making it feel like the ultimate Christmas stop. Liked the holiday inspired beverage menu. A little pricey but cute drinks. I got the Frosty's Toddy, which was pretty good. Ordered the pot stickers and a side salad with homemade vinaigrette. Very good. My boyfriend got the chicken sandwich which was really messy, but he said it was good too. We snapped some holiday pics together and even saw Santa in the entryway. Highly suggest a stop to get in the Christmas spirit.

My friend and I had a fun night out at this restaurant/bar during their Blitzen's Christmas pop up bar extravaganza. Our drinks were delicious and strong in the best possible way We did not order food on this particular visit, but their meatball appetizer is generally a good bet! The bartender was very friendly and speedy with service. The highlight though for both of us was the ambiance. The walls were covered from head to toe with all types of Christmas decor, and if you sit in the bar area, there's even a snow machine. We can't wait to return next year during the holidays!

First time coming here. It's a really popular restaurant in downtown Hudson. My wife and friends recently came here to check out the Christmas themed restaurant they do every year. Wow! Was this place popping. It took a while to get our seat before they closed but the service was great! Staff was considerate throughout our visit. Prices here are fair, great pretzels to snack on too and even better holiday themed drinks. The restrooms are a bit of a walk to get too and it may be a bit of a small seating establishment but I absolutely enjoyed my visit.

Stopped by for lunch on a Saturday. I had the hot pastrami and she had the mushroom Swiss burger. We both had fries which were delicious. Both were excellent and we will be back.

Just went a couple of times to Hudson's transformed into Blitzen's for the Christmas season. So very fun and great cocktail menu. If you don't have a good time when you go during this season --- You may be a Grinch!!! Enjoy!

Went to Blitzens over the holidays. Does not disappoint. Great food, nice service and the vibe was as if Christmas vomitted all over the restaurant (inna great way).

We went during the Christmas pop-up season so the place well well decorated and very festive. While the hosts were not welcoming the few times I've been here, I can understand as they must be tired from the busy holiday crowds. When I came to the stand to check in, the man was talking to the other hosts and checking his tablet as I waited (not a problem at all by the way, it was busy) and then after a minute he looked up at me and stared...waiting for me to talk. I try to wait until the host asks if they can help me because I don't want to be rude and immediately assume they're ready to serve me yet, so I was waiting for his signal. But he just stared like I was ignoring him or something so finally I spoke and said I'm there to check in. This being said, I know he must've been tired so it's no problem, just a note that I may be thinking too much into.The servers, however, were fantastic. They were very hospitable and attentive even in the rush of things. Our food tasted great, we also split the Buffalo chicken pierogis (not pictured) which were delicious but small portion sizes. Overall, I love coming here and it's a great restaurant even when it's not in Christmas theme!

Food was pretty tasty - got the chicken wings with garlic Parmesan and the Blazin shrimp tacos. Surprisingly delicious. 9/10. Ambiance - They decorate for the holidays so was Christmas decor when I visited. Large restaurant that was pretty busy when I visited. If they take reservations, would highly recommend doing so since they had a 2 hr wait when I was picking up my food.
