Hot Wasabi, Hibachi Express

The food here is pretty good, but the portion size has decreased, while the prices have increased. The quality is still pretty good. Almost as good as the regular restaurants, but for less.

The food here is always piping hot and they give generous portions. The price is pretty great especially since hibachi is typically expensive. I've only had good experiences here!

This little noodle/hibachi takeout spot is awesome! We had steak/shrimp/scallops with rice and noodles, crab Rangoon, and chicken egg rolls. Service was speedy and efficient!

Heard some good things about this place so I decided to give it a try. Have to say, not sure what the other people were thinking. This place is terrible. First, it's located in this really old, abandoned looking building. The kitchen is extremely dirty and filthy. I still gave this place a try because you know what people say, never judge a book by its cover. Boy, was I wrong. The food was terrible too. I ordered the hibachi chicken and hibachi shrimp and scallop. The chicken was flavorless and burnt. The rice was hard and tasted old. The scallop tasted spoiled. And the onions were all brown. The staff was unfriendly. The only good part was the food came out very fast. I will not be returning to this place anymore. There are better Japanese take outs around.

This place is a dump, but don't let that put you off. They have some of the best carry out Asian food I have ever eaten. The quality of the ingredients and the flavor profiles that the chef creates is as good as any dine-in restaurant that I have eaten at. Now let's get this straight, this place does one thing and one thing only, Hibachi and only Hibachi, and it's not cheap for carry out. Prices run about $10 - $25. Why so much? Because of the high quality ingredients. The $25 dish has 2 lobster tails! The shrimp & scallop dish contains jumbo shrimp and jumbo SEA scallops. Most carry out places give you crappy little milky bay scallops. These scallops were up to 2" in diameter and an 1" thick and were seared to perfection. A scallop can be over cooked very quickly but this guy nailed it. So if you want atmosphere go some place else. If you're are looking for someplace with a kids menu, look somewhere else. I'm serious, this place has only one menu item, but done with different meat combinations. I have driven by this place for a year or two and have never seen anyone in the parking lot, so just out of pity for them I decided to stop in and give them a try. I'm glad I did!
