Horst Sandwich

I appreciate the local vibe of this place. My friends have been telling me about it for a long time and I've driven past it several times, and had been wanting to stop. Finally made it here. They have a great selection of deli sandwiches and fresh unique sparkling fountain beverages. No sugar-free options for the beverages that I saw, but there were many choices. I had the tuna salad on a garden salad. The tuna salad mix was fairly sweet, which I didn't love, so I likely wouldn't get that again. I don't like any sort of potato, pasta, egg, or tuna salad with sugar added, but a lot of recipes tend to do that for some reason. My friend had the chicken salad croissant and she said it was delicious. I will indeed give this place another try. I will order something different. The breads and pastries looked so fresh and wonderful. Don't be intimidated by the line- it moves fast.

No pictures to share, but what an awesome little spot in Salem! Prompt and courteous service... fresh ingredients and fantastic selection from sandwich's, salads and pizza. Picked up lunch for my parents and topped it off with some mini hand pies. If you haven't been, stop by! In a rush... place an online order for easy pickup!

Wow! This place lives up to the 5 star rating. Excellent sandwich for a good price. I had the meat club with swiss. Outstanding! I really wish I lived here to be able to eat here often. Could use some more seating so you can eat in. The folks behind the counter were very friendly and patient . This is a must stop.

Sandwich's are yummy. I tried the chicken salad sandwich on delicious rolls. The service was friendly and helpful. There was a line at lunchtime but went super quick. I asked a very nice gentleman what he recommended and he mentioned a few items. Which I thanked him for. When I went to pay found out he paid for my sandwich. He was gone before I could thank him. What a friendly little place. Thank you Sir for my sandwich. Very kind of you. Neat little market attached with local items and baked goods. Very cute

This is THE place to stop in Salem for a quick, unfussy breakfast & lunch. Clean, cozy, modern. Great service, fresh ingredients, tasty food.

Everything was very fresh, staff was very friendly and we received quick service. Prices are very fair. Store was super clean. Great job. We will be back.

Great food, awesome donuts, and a nice selection of ice cream. The owners/workers are always so courteous.

I stopped into this restaurant and I had soup in a salad.my boyfriend chose a doughnut which he said was one of the best done as hes ever had. I am very glad that They opened up a restaurant. This is a family owned restaurant and they have all lot of local items and they hand make a lot of things.

Food was great. Friendly service. Small market was an added bonus for snacks/drinks. I definitely plan to go there more.

Best place to get subs, quick service, and such a cute little deli! They have the best prices on deli meats and cheeses compared to local delis in the area. Awesome ham salad too! Always highly recommend. Such a big variety of items to choose from including gluten free.
